I think one of the biggest problems with hubspot forms is that, whenever there is a reason to make changes to a form (for example add new fields, edit dependent fields, change GDPR settings etc), you need to do it one by one on all the forms. It would be much easier if you could create different template forms (for example one for newsletter signup, one for lead gen, one for book a meeting etc) and then clone from these templates. Once you need to edit a form, you can just edit the template and have the option to edit all forms that are using the template.  Using the same form is often not an option, because of different CTAs, the form being added as an asset to different campaigns, or different languages for example.  I really hope you will work on this, its a really messy job right now... ...read more

The ability to create workflow templates that allow us to quickly assign the information that changes per workflow ------- Use Case: Say you have a workflow that sends an email then performs the same 3-5 things in sequence. This sequence gets added to every single time you send an email. Now we can currently clone workflows. But depending on the complexity of the workflow that can potentially lead to errors, if you don't change everything properly. Now before the most recent update, I was allowed to save workflows with missing information. This allowed me to save a Templated email that cannot launch untill all the errors have been dealt with.  I would essentially like the same process that I created on accident as a feature.  The ability to have a workflow template that when instantiated will walk the user through the things that need to be filled out to for the workflow to operate as desired.   TLDR; I want to make workflow templates so easy a caveman can use it. ...read more

Currently, only tracking URLs that are bucketing visits under 'Paid Search' or 'Other Campaigns' in the Sources Report will appear in the Campaigns tool, but the Tracking URLs that are categorized as 'Email Marketing', 'Paid Social', or 'Social Media' will not appear in the Campaigns tool. My suggestion is that when a tracking URL is associated with a campaign, it should also be appeared under the campaign tool. HubSpot should consider to improve the "Campaign" functionality and make it more useful. ...read more

We recently created a Tracking URL in Hubspot in the hopes of getting insights on the programs we're launching the UTM link for. UTMs are often used to track the performance of campaigns and content. What's currently being provided as a UTM feature doesn't give enough context into how our program is performing--we have no insight to who these people are and if they took action on the page they visited.    From what I understand, it would be helpful to not strip UTM parameters from visited URLs on contact records. If providing this as a searchable value, we can, at a minimum, have the ability to search for contacts related to this activity and/or create workflows that can sync contacts (who visited the UTM link) into our CRM tool.   At a very minimum, is it possible to update Tracking URL functionality in Hubspot to be reportable (with UTM parameters)? ...read more

I would find it really helpful to tag contact lists as belonging to a certain campaign, so cloning the campaign also clones the lists, which are an essential part of the campaign.   Here's the background...   We are running training workshops, using an integrated webinar platform. Each workshop has a complex set of assets, with automation and webinar integration, to manage various aspects: Pre-workshop interest surveys to prioritize topics (lists + forms + pages + emails) Announcements with registration links (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows + webinar integration) Post-registration communications, offers & reminders (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows) Post-workshop survey, training materials & session video links (lists+ forms + pages + emails + workflows + webinar integration) All of these forms, landing pages, emails, workflows, CTAs, and webinar platform integrations have to work together. Contact lists are the glue that holds this together, providing essential targeting, segmenting and state management. In particular: We will often use different registration and survey forms (and therefore different landing pages) for different contact segments.  Each email needs a contact list that filters contacts based on whether they've registered, whether they're current users of our product, and other criteria. Workflows use list membership as triggers and/or for conditional branching. Lists are composable, reusable, and are well-suited to encapsulate complex query criteria. So we use them to simplify the workflows.  Bottom line: We think of each workshop event as its own campaign, and the lists are an essential part of the campaign. We want to be able to clone these campaigns, including the lists, for another workshop, another target audience, etc.   We're very happy with the results we've achieved by creating sophisticated campaigns around these workshops. But we're trying to scale it now, and it's very time-consuming and error-prone to manually copy and modify each component in this complex, interdependent set of assets.  Organizing them into a campaign, and being able to clone the campaign, is the first step towards reducing the overhead of running these workshops.   ...read more

Integrate created tasks within Productivity > Projects and Productivity > Calendar so that created tasks are reflected in both tools and can be assigned to specific Campaigns.   Couldn't agree more. Love to be able to create a task manually and have another pulldown menu to tie the task to a project and a campaign or just to one. ...read more

I've uncovered quite a major flaw in the workflows tool, which severely hinders the ability to create effectively functioning, always-on workflows for B2B companies with a global audience. If you want contacts to only receive emails on weekdays, and during work hours in their respective timezones, you have to restrict your pause steps to 7 days, or risk sending your contacts emails in the middle of the night! Given that you need the emails to be able to deliver emails 24/7 (it's always business hours somewhere!) during the week, but not on weekends, it's the setting of these executable windows for workflow actions where it all falls down... If a contact enters such a workflow at 4pm UK time on a Tuesday, receiving an email and going into a 5-day pause step before email 2, they will reach Sunday and wait for the sending window to open again - which in this case would have to be just after midnight on Monday morning, to account for contacts in different timezones. This would cause that contact to receive an email in the middle of the night! WE NEED the ability to allow contacts to enter the next step at the same time as they entered it, rather than having emails triggered as soon as the window opens. The current functionality only works if your audience is all in one timezone, and so you can set specific email windows such as 9am-4pm.  If you have a global audience, a set time window cannot be used. So... that only leaves us with two, quite undesirable options! - Set them to weekdays only, contacts begin dropping in naturally in their various timezones, and some pass through fine, but others reach the weekend, and as a result receive an email at a bizarre time on a Monday - Set all the pauses in the workflow to be a 7-day step, so the emails are guaranteed to be sent on a weekday AND at an appropriate time related to their location, but severely limiting the flexibility we have with pause steps in the process. Hello,   My team is considering migrating from Asana to HS's integrated Projects feature. Overall, it's excellent. However, there appear to be two limitations that may prevent our ability to migrate:   1. Ability to specify "in progress" as a task status. Currently, HS Projects only has "Completed" or "Not Completed." The majority of our projects are long term, involve multiple people providing input, etc. An ability to better track progress would be huge for us. 2. Add the ability to filter projects by owner or creator like you can for Tasks. In Asana, we're using individual "projects" for each marketing campaign. Since each of us is primarily responsible for specific campaigns, we don't really want to see other people's clutter except on occasion (for example if someone is OOO).   Any plans to implement the above in the near future? This situation is creating unnecessary load. My server and yours are extremely bussy.    Can you provide batch option? That can decrease the number of requsts... ...read more
