Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

Settings for featured image on social media When creating a blogpost it would be fantastic to have a feature that makes it easy to change the featured image for social media. As it is today in the settings for featured image, it also changes the top image of the blogpost.   This is how we want the blogpost to look like This is how we want the blogpost to be And then it would be great to choose a featured image for social media in the settings like this for example As it is today, when I choose the one with text, it also changes the featured image for the whole blogpost But when we do that, the blogpost looks like this.  .....so it looks like this. Her we want just a clear image   So, we want 1 top featured image on the blog, and when we link to the blogpost on any social media platform, we want it to be another one.  So the oppertunity to have another image for the thumbnail on social media platforms. Different thumbnails for different platforms are important, and if we can have settings like that directly when creating a blogpost in HubSpot we ensure that we avoid manual errors and mistakes. ...read more

Hey there!   First, we can all agree that the new drag-n-drop Blog Listing page is pretty darn awesome.  However, attributing a brand new template to the Blog's Listing Page can use some real work.   The problem: When moving to a new theme and attributing that theme's blog listing template to an existing HubSpot blog, the blog retains all its old modules from the prior template.   There is a dropdown (hidden) in the top right corner that allows you to only keep the older modules or add in the new modules with the older modules but not a way to replace the older modules entirely with the new modules.   This is a super confusing experience.   Potential Solution: When attributing a new blog listing template a simple prompt that would allow someone to "Keep old modules" or "Keep old and new modules" or "Replace old modules with new modules" would be far more clear. Currently, in order to allow for a blog featured image to display on the blog listing page, then the featured image must also display on the individual blog post as well. It would be great if we had the flexibility to opt to display the featured image only for the blog listing page. ...read more

As all of you might know the current blog post is just a simple rich-text which is fine for general posting. But many of our customers want a flexible solution. Like multi-column grids with different content-types like images, text, accordions/toogles ...    The only way to achive this right now is a custom module with all possible content types and pre-defined layouts and a repeater function.    It would be awesome if the blog post would get the drag&drop functionality so that every customer/user could design each blog post to his needs.  ...read more

Currently, when you view the 'content detail' page on a website or blog page, the page metrics and table don't have the option to display CTA data (CTA views, CTA clicks, CTA rate). Instead, it only shows form submissions and contacts, which aren't relevant to blog pages in particular.    It would be extremely helpful for all marketers to be able to see how your CTAs are performing on an individual page level, without having to go through analytics tools and seeing a full list of all pages.    Page metrics showing no CTA data: Metrics available in the table: Thanks! ...read more

I would love to be able to publish blog posts but not have /blog/post-title. I want to have /topic/post-title. I guess technically its just the ability to change the permalinks of posts (to become child URLs of topics) but surface in the "/blog/" category pages of my choice also. Seems integral to / useful for topic clustering and site architecture.   P.S - see image, I cannot even do this manually by creating a "blog" with the slug being the appropriate parent.     ...read more
