I would love to have a way to setup a blog page that could automatically populate with Email newsletters we send (the web page version of the email). It would be a similar setup to a blog index page that automatically features the articles we publish... It would be awesome if we could do the same thing with our email newsletters. Previously we have done this manually - add a link to a standard Hubspot web page but it would seem to me that there should be a way to automate this like when you write a blog article - publish and it automatically populates the blog index page with a link and preview of the actual blog (in this case, an Enewsletter email).   This would be a killer feature!  Upvote if you agree! ...read more

I'd like to propose an enhancement to the editor interfaces in HubSpot that could significantly improve user workflow and productivity. Currently, e.g. in the Marketing Email Editor, there's an "Exit" button in the top left corner that takes users back to the Marketing Email overview:   The "Exit" button in the top left corner of the Marketing Email Editor   While this is useful in some scenarios, our team has observed that it doesn't always align with our workflow needs. We suggest adding an "Open in New Tab"-option or something similar next to or instead of the current "Exit"-button. This would allow users to open the Marketing Email overview in a new tab while keeping the current email draft open for editing.   Benefits: 1. Users can reference other emails without losing their place in the current draft. 2. Ability to work on multiple emails simultaneously. 3. Easy access to the full email list for inspiration or consistency checks. 4. Minimizes the risk of unintentionally leaving the email draft.   Use Case: When crafting or editing an email, we often need to reference other emails for consistency in style, content, or design. The current "Exit"-button forces us to manually open the other emails in additional tabs; involving several tiring clicks until we get to the emails we want to open, and potentially losing our train of thought.   An "Open in New Tab"-option – also in other HubSpot editor interfaces (e.g. for CTAs, Blog, Website and Landing Page) – would seamlessly solve this issue. It would be great if we could set up an automation that notifies us if any of our blog posts get over a set number of views.    Currently, we can only track views per contact instead of all views per blog post!  ...read more

When you connect a domain for a free or starter account, the default is that the domain is available for the website, blog, and landing pages.   It is optional how you configure the domains for Pro and Enterprise, but this might also impact those users depending on the domain/subdomain chosen for the blog vs website.   A user connects their domain and expects to publish their website home page on the root domain.   They get an error that a page already exists with that page path, despite not having created any other content.   This is happening because the blog listing page URL hasn't been set.   Once a blog is created, the user can add a page path to the Blog Slug and the blog listing page is no longer parked on the root domain, allowing the home page to publish.   This has popped up at least 20 times in the last few weeks here in the community and it's causing a lot of confusion.   When a domain is connected, the root domain should be reserved for the website and since a blog listing hasn't been created yet, there should be a temporary path for "blog" until the user configures something. ...read more

Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

When you have hundreds of historical blogs, it can be difficult to keep up with content that is posted in the moment but needs a regular update (e.g. top marketing statistics of 2015 or WordPress v HubSpot: 2018 edition). It would be cool for the blog section to have a reminder field so that your team can be notified when a piece should be updated for the current year. Manual solutions like setting a calendar invite may not work as your team members filter in and out over the years. ...read more

Dear developers, As soon as you need an overview page on your website, for example for the presentation of individual functions, usecases, news ... , it makes sense to "abuse" the blog function. Unfortunately, a form is automatically generated for each blog, which cannot be deleted. As we have many blogs in use, the system is now full of redundant forms, although we had deactivated the comment function from the outset. It would be great if you could either delete these forms or even better: if they were not created in the first place and you had to actively create them yourself. I hope you'll help us out. As all of you might know the current blog post is just a simple rich-text which is fine for general posting. But many of our customers want a flexible solution. Like multi-column grids with different content-types like images, text, accordions/toogles ...    The only way to achive this right now is a custom module with all possible content types and pre-defined layouts and a repeater function.    It would be awesome if the blog post would get the drag&drop functionality so that every customer/user could design each blog post to his needs.  ...read more
