Currently, blog comment module display old to new comment for specific blog.  If we can have a choice to make it newer comennt  to older comment, it would make it look like more real time comment on the blog post.    Also, we have a lot of comment so, if we have ability to bring comment form to the top of comment listing, that would be useful as well. ... Is it possible to add an "open all links in new tab" function for blogs? As of now, the default is to have the links open in the same window — if you want a link to open in a new tab, you must manually select each individual link to change the default setting.   For research-heavy blogs, on average we spend an hour per blog solely on clicking on each external link to open in a new tab. As users, since this function is already provided, it would be more efficient to have the option to apply this to an entire body of text.   For our team, this would save us a ton of time. If we could apply this to the entire body to begin with, we could get it done in less than 10 minutes.    Here, you can find a previous HubSpot forum with a similar idea — other people have continuously been experiencing this same issue since 2017. And in terms of SEO, if you’re opening external links in the same tab as your site, this affects both you and your users.    The optimal user experience would be for the external link to open in a new tab, and for the blog reader to continue reading the post, going back to the other tab later. Otherwise, once the reader leaves your website, they likely won’t make it back.    In fact, this HubSpot blog states “opening a link in a new browser window, as opposed to the window they are currently in (your website) makes it less likely that a user will permanently abandon your website for the one you linked to.”    All companies are different. Optimal experiences are different. Workflows are different. We should have the option to decide what works best for us and our clients while having the tools to make our workflow easier.    If we can change link behavior on CTAs manually, why not allow a default setting? ... I am currently in the process of moving about 50+ blogs from 'Blog Location 1' to 'Blog Location 2' within our HubSpot Blog portal.    Currently (after chatting with awesome HS Support team member Catherine), there is no way to move ALL or even multiple blogs to a different blog location within HubSpot. The only way to do so is to go into each. individual. blog post. and 'Edit', then move the blog location.   With this many blogs, this will take forever. It would be awesome, in the future, to be able to select all blogs and have a drop-down option to 'Move Blog Location' and be able to choose 'Blog Location 2' for a quick and time-efficient alternative to this task!   Thanks for hearing me out, hoping this transpires one day 🙂 -Andi P. ... Hello,   I, and I'm sure others, think it would be more beneficial to have the default hyperlink option in blogs to be having them open in a new window. As of now, the default is to have the links open in the same window and therefore prompts visitors to leave the blog. There is the option to select a radial box and have them open in a new window, but you need to remember to click it everytime, or risk losing the visitor. Having the links open in a new tab or a new window by would allow them to remain in the blog and therefore a better chance of clicking the CTA.   Thanks, Ben     ... Mehr anzeigen

Customers who know the product could be involved more by adding a chance for them to browse existing feature requests, upvote them and comment them just like in this Ideas blog. Making it available as a community tool would be great, e.g. as a template for pages allowing to link feature requests with user contact and company contact. Other idea would be to just add it as a whole new service hub feature or even an individual "feature hub". The value should be obvious: You hubspot guys could add it as a paid feature, while clients could improve their customer involvement and help to narrow product and service development. Who: content marketers; especially those working on the blog Goal: be able to measure success and visualize how the number of subscribers to the blog has grown over time Example: a previous version of HubSpot   There used to be a report that showed how the number of subscribers to the blog has grown over time as shown in a previous post to the community.   Now, it's no longer possible to view the data that way in the blog analytics, nor is it possible to create an equivalent custom graph.    When I couldn’t find the default report referred to in the community post, I tried making my own custom report, but all the combinations of filters and properties I’ve tried don’t show exactly what I’m looking for: how the total number of subscribers has grown over time. It seems like two key properties from the old graphs are no longer available: blog subscription date and number of blog subscribers.   The closest I could get was creating a list of all contacts filtering for "blog subscription is known" and creating a report that just shows the count of contacts in that list, but that loses the context of seeing in what month/week the number went up and it seems like I can’t set the date range I want to compare without another issue coming up. There's an option to view “this year” vs “last year” but I assume that’s the calendar year and our company’s fiscal year starts on Oct 1 and ends on Sept 30.  When I set a custom date range to compare, it no longer shows the total number of subscribers, but the amount of new subscribers from within that timeframe.   Can you bring back the old subscriber count report shown in the thread linked above or at least make it possible to choose "blog subscription date" or "date of first submission" for a specific form as properties in the custom reports tool? ... Hi there,   Posting this on behalf of a customer:  The idea is to add a feature to a blog post, to automatically create a pdf document out of it and download it right away on the very blog post page. We are aware that it is possible to convert a webpage into PDF and set this up in a custom way manually, however customer is seeing great potential in this to reduce friction for users that want to share blog posts internally, etc.  ... Hi, It would be useful to have the ability to easily add alt text to blog 'featured images'. At the moment there is no field to add alt text to featured images and the workarounds Hubspot suggests aren't optimal. For example: 1) https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/cos-blog/how-do-i-add-alt-text-to-featured-images-on-blog-listing-pages This fix will only pull through the title / name of the article (rather than specially written alt text) and does not display the alt text when you hover over the image. 2) Removing the featured image and replacing it with an image at the top of the 'body' text does enable you to add alt text, however, the image disappears from the blog 'listing page' making it much less aesthetic / clean. I would think this is quite a common issue for those trying to optimise alt text on their sites so hopefully if enough people have this problem, a fix / new feature can be implemented.
