One of my clients is running into an association issue that can’t be solved by workflow / custom code   When a deal is won, we automatically create an onboarding ticket that is supposed to copy the association of the deal with the ticket   ex: deal associated with 3 contacts and 1 company -> Onboarding ticket is associated with these same 3 contacts and 1 company   Unfortunately, what HubSpot does is that it overrides the associations rules we set by workflow, and automatically associates the onboarding ticket to all the companies that are associated with the contacts (not only the one in the deal).   In the association history, we can see that the action is made by HubSpot API.    For now, users have to manually remove the associations with unwanted companies in the onboarding ticket, which is prone to many errors.   A quick development of an answer to this issue will be highly appreciated ...read more

Hi, With the recent addition of Conditional Options (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/set-up-conditional-options-for-properties), we are now able to set up conditional options through the HubSpot interface. However, at the moment, there's no easy way to set up conditional options through the API. And the process can be tedious for uses cases such as the Country <> State relationship, where a given country may have dozens of states to set up manually.   Therefore, could you please look into adding a new endpoint to the API? ...read more

Hello! I'm a Data Engineer, responsible for integrating HubSpot with our company's data warehouse. I'm currently working on transitioning our integration from APIv1 to APIv3 and have encountered a significant issue. At present, it's not possible to retrieve associated IDs for records obtained via the SearchAPI.   For instance, to fetch recently modified deals, I call the Deal SearchAPI with appropriate filters. However, I do not receive data about associated contact IDs for the located deals. In theory, one could construct a flow involving additional API calls to the AssociationAPI, but this approach is quota-consuming and not the optimal solution.   It would be beneficial to introduce a feature similar to the one available in the '/crm/v3/objects/deals endpoint'. Zoom paid accounts now automatically summarize the calls through their AI summary tool. you have to toggle it on in settings. I propose adding the ability to include alternative products and optional products in HubSpot quotes.   Example for Alternative Products: A customer receives a quote for the “Premium” product and can choose “Basic” as an alternative. This allows the customer to select between two options directly within the quote, making it more transparent and flexible.   Optional Products: Additionally, there should be an option to include products or services offered on an optional basis (e.g., add-ons) without affecting the total price. Customers can choose to add these optional products if they’re interested, enabling a more tailored quote experience.   If implemented, it’s essential to ensure that the API also supports this feature, allowing line items to be linked with the quote and designated as either optional or alternative.   Many other platforms already offer this functionality, and it would empower HubSpot users to better adapt quotes to customer needs, increasing both flexibility and customization. ...read more

Currently, when a new company record is created, HubSpot automatically associates an image—typically the company's logo—with the company card. This visual element is very helpful within the CRM interface. Feature Request: API Access to Company Images: Provide a way to programmatically access the images automatically associated with company records. Allow these images to be retrieved and downloaded via the HubSpot API. Use Case: Our team wants to integrate these company images into our external database and internal systems. Having access to these images would enable us to: Enhance our external databases with visual identifiers. Streamline internal workflows that utilize company branding. We're missing any kind of timestamp in associations, like a created_at, updated_at, etc., that could be used for incremental loading of associations tables into our datawarehouse. Association tables grow big quickly, and they're consuming a lot of ingested rows. ...read more

Its been a common and age-old problem with those of us who use integrations regularly that Hubspot's native API property for Emails doesn't like to work well with other systems. Inside Hubspot its a seemless tool, but when linking to other systems like Practifi whic store emails in separate properties for different uses, it can cause quite a problem.   For example:  - A contact is created under their primary email, but somewhere along the way another secondary or even terciary email is added. All of these emails are stored under one property as a comma separated value.  When syncing with another system, that does not use this methodoligy, the other program will only recognize the primary email.    This can become a problem when a contact has entered an alternative email in prospecting, service communication, collections, etc. as the users in the other program will not have access to those alternate emails.    Inside Hubspot, the workflow parameters don't allow for these additional emails to easily be copied to other fields to fix this problem.    This leads to manual work on the end of both programs in the end. Some solutions might include: UI that allows the admin to copy additional email fields to other properties, added functionality that creates rules when additional emails are added to map them to other properties in other programs.  For example:  - A user is setting up an integration to Salesforce.
