Right now in "ads" Hubspot can show you contacts (aka new contacts), but not Form Submissions when analyzing ads through HubSpot's ad section. We have multiple funnels for different services and products that target existing contacts/customers. It would be great to have the ability to attribute a contact to an ad manually. Some of our leads see our ads, then call in to place an order instead of placing it online. Our sales team tracks that the leads came via ads, but because the lead is then created manually in hubspot, they are not included in the Ad reporting. This understates our marketing generated leads. tl;dr: Pretty much what the headline says.   As a marketing exec in a lead-oriented B2B environment, I don't want to deliver the classic lifecycle stages back into Google Ads algorithms via ad events, but rather use a custom field with manually collected data on the lead quality without the factor of the sales funnel. Since stages like 'Opportunities' or 'Customer' are greatly influenced by processes and the performance of individuals, it is in my eyes not optimal to use as an indicator for increasing/decreasing ad spends.   Example: assuming we have generated two different leads from Google Ads. One (Lead A) has a customer lifetime value of 2 million €. The other (Lead B) comes with a CLV of 50k €. Now, Lead B goes through the processes quite smoothly and gets to the lifecycle 'Customer' within two month. Lead A on the other hand is stuck in stages 'SQL' and 'Opportunity' forever because the internal decision management of the potential client is more complicated than rocket science. Eventually, Lead A will become an 'Evangelist', but for quite some time the Hubspot API pushes the wrong information of Lead B being more valuable than Lead A back to Google Ads which, in turn, uses this to optimize smart bidding and find more Lead-B-Personas.   I want to add, that it is not possible to modify the options of the standard property 'Lifecycle stage' since this would be the most obvious workaround.   It would be better for us to use the customer lifetime value or any other custom lead quality criteria as a trigger for the ad events. Original Source drill down 1 & 2 are very helpful for measuring ad campaign success for Lead/Inquiry Generation ad tactics. When we think about Lead/Inquiry Nurture ad tactics, however, HSA is somewhat limited. Can a filter/column be built for 'Re-engagement' source drill down 1 & 2? This would be helpful to more easily track success vs. having to create a list of ad campaign engagers and build reports off of the list. ...read more

Would be great to be able to select which elements of a campaign that you can synchronise from the platform (linkedin, facebook, google, etc) that you want to link to Hubspot, and what remains in the platform itself.   In the case of Linkedin, some clients may not benefit from all of the added data and information that comes with campaigns being run in terms of clicks, impressions, spend etc.....but only want to have Leads generated in Lead Forms be auto-synchronised into Hubspot for lead nurturing purposes ...read more

The impressions report does not include data from Twitter. I was not able to connect our Twitter Ads account on HubSpot. As a result, when producing our social media report monthly we have to manually login into all our Twitter accounts (we have 4 brands and a Twitter account for each brand) to pull out the stat. In addition, the fact that all the impressions received on Twitter and Twitter Ads aren't added to our HubSpot social media/Ads reports,  it might look like we are underperforming when looking at the HubSpot social media/Ads reports as these aren't accurate (missing both organic and paid impressions received on Twitter)  because of the features I'm requesting here aren't enabled.
