It should be possible (based on the data already pulling into HubSpot through the ads portal) to attribute ad sets to HubSpot campaigns. That would enable the campaign reports to not only show the ads that belonged to that campaign (currently you have to manually enter a budget), but also what the actual spend and ROI for those ads is. ...read more

Adding this ideas request having spent some time with different customers looking for the ability to track Google Ads Performance max campaigns:  https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/10724817?hl=en  Currently, this is not supported in HubSpot ad tracking so while the overall campaign can be synced to HubSpot the ad groups show as blank and converted contacts cannot be attributed to it in a meaningful manner.  We can also see this community posting noting the same request from about 40 users: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Ads/Performance-Max-or-PMax-Google-Ads/m-p/760151#M1893  Overall this is becoming more of a pain point for customers as this Google ads feature becomes more popular, and an ability to track these would benefit many. ...read more

Recently Google Ads unrolled a new feature called, lead form ads. You can now let leads fill in your form directly in Google > by clicking on your ad. This is a beta update, but we allready have it 🙂 (whoopwhoop).   I would like to make sure leads filling out the form are being logged in HubSpot CRM. So sales can contact them. Therefor you can fill in a 'webhook url' and a 'key' in the Google Ads form ad. Unfortunatly you can only create a webhook URL for apps within HubSpot or use an API. And that's not usefull for Google Ads, so you cannot track leads in HubSpot and you have to manually download them from Google and then manually upload them. But you will lose all the information about the Ad the lead clicked on, pageview etcetera.    So, hopefully it will be on the agenda soon, so we can have lead form ads in Google AND all the information and tracking in HubSpot.    Read about the new feature here > https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9363648?hl=en ...read more

Hi We have ran into the issue that when adding assets  "Ad Assets" to a HubSpot campaign we can only add the LinkedIn Ad GROUP and not a campaign within that group.  The whole group must be added.   This does not align with how we group our campaigns in LinkedIn.   We would like to be able to add a single LinkedIn campaign to a HubSpot campaign regardless of the LinkedIn Ad Group it lives in.   For example, when I try to find the Corporates New Business campaign , I can only see the “corporate” campaign group and not the specific campaign we want to add.   Thanks   ...read more

All types of ads should be available as assets than can be associated with a Hubspot campaign. Right now, if I'm running a campaign in Hubspot that includes some forms of paid advertising, I have to cobble together the reporting myself.
