Every **bleep** week, I have to deal with at least one user in my Hubspot portal struggling with 2FA. And what's worse? They don't even get the **bleep** notifications on the Hubspot app on their phone when they log in on their computer. And you know what? The Hubspot iOS app has more errors than the Hubspot Android app. And don't even get me started on my users. They're not tech-savvy, they're not good at English and they can't even remember where they saved the PDF file containing 10 codes. But that's not their fault, you can't expect a salesperson, a customer service representative, or a content writer to have a deep understanding of technology. As a Super Admin, I have to support all my users with their 2FA errors. And you know what? It's a total waste of my time. I could have used that time to do more important and productive tasks. As the Hubspot portal Super Admin, I USED TO BE ABLE to help my users RESET their 2FA. At least they could set up a new 2FA and continue using their Hubspot until they got the **bleep** error again. But now? Even Super Admins don't have the right to reset 2FA for users. When their 2FA fails, and they want to reset it, Hubspot sends them an email asking for information. And what do they get in return? They have to wait 48 - 72 hours for the Hubspot support team to send an email to help. And you know what? In the meantime, I have to create them a temporary account with another email to use. I can't let the company's work slow down, dammit! And what do I get for all of this? A bunch of unresolved work and complaints from users. They're always whining and crying about not being able to reset their 2FA immediately like I've done in the past. I'm frustrated and stressed out of my mind! It's not just a waste of my time; it's causing productivity issues for the whole company! Sure, Hubspot is a great tool, but this 2FA garbage is causing more stress than it's worth. Hubspot needs to improve their 2FA system and provide better support for their users. Users shouldn't have to wait days to access their accounts, and Super Admins shouldn't have to create temporary accounts to keep the company's work going. It's time for Hubspot to step up and make 2FA a smoother and more user-friendly experience. Enough is enough, dammit! Or at least, give me back the right to reset my users' 2FA! And let me guess, some Hubspot support person will send me a bunch of links to some knowledge articles that I've read dozens of times! ...read more

Hello all,    Have there been any discussions about allowing super admin to limit access to different datasets that get created? The situation I am running into is that we have brought in a quota for a custom object that we have made. I could restrict the pipeline (created a pipeline within the custom object that I restricted; also locked the property) to keep the quotas hidden from everyone. For the reporting side of the quota vs actuals, I created datasets for each of our territories, but they could make a report themselves and select someone else's dataset. I think one of the biggest problems with hubspot forms is that, whenever there is a reason to make changes to a form (for example add new fields, edit dependent fields, change GDPR settings etc), you need to do it one by one on all the forms. It would be much easier if you could create different template forms (for example one for newsletter signup, one for lead gen, one for book a meeting etc) and then clone from these templates. Once you need to edit a form, you can just edit the template and have the option to edit all forms that are using the template.  Using the same form is often not an option, because of different CTAs, the form being added as an asset to different campaigns, or different languages for example.  I really hope you will work on this, its a really messy job right now... ...read more

I am dealing with an issue where we are using the enterprise custom sidebars on the left-hand side both for team views as well as dependencies (if field has X value, show these additional fields).   I am realizing that the preview function only shows the "About this Object" section and then moves on to other information about other objects.   It would really improve the preview functionality if those additional sections and dependent sections would show up in previews.    ...read more

I work for a non-profit, and we have been using Hubspot for several years. For what it's worth, many of the tools in Hubspot have been incredibly useful to us, however, as it is geared towards sales and for-profit companies, it can sometimes miss the mark on certain things. I mostly wanted to hop into the discussion here and suggest that Hubspot consider coming up with a nonprofit version of their tools. I believe that it would be incredilby useful to so many nonprofits to have a tool as powerful as hubspot that is geared towards nonprofit activities and maybe has some adjusted pricing. Recently one of our executive leaders realized that the outlook plugin had been tracking every email to his contact record. These emails were to other  C-suite leaders and contained information that should not be public. Hubspot has little to no protections from this except to have each individual person set their Never Log to each of the executive leaders.   My recommendation would be to add functionality to the roles and allow for tracking to be turned off across certain role types to keep this from happening again. ...read more

Just as you can tell who last update a contact, company, or deal - it would be awesome to know who created or last updated a line item. Especially as we train our sales, strategic solutions, and customer success team to use the line items.  ...read more

Actually when deals are imported from SFDC, if we have multiple currencies managed in SFDC, it's imported with default currency in HubSpot.  Ex. a deal of 100k USD in SFDC, will be imported in HubSpot has 100k EUR deal if the currency by default is EUR.  It's something covered here : https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Marketing-Integrations/Please-Help-Integrating-HubSpot-sync-with-Salesforce-multi/m-p/23868 Considering that HubSpot is going upstream in the value chain of customers, the HubSpot + SFDC in a international context will happen more often. Within our database, we have a lot of duplicate companies because companies have multiple URL variations (i.e. www.brand.co.uk / www.brand.com /www.sub.brand.com, etc)    When we're merging these company accounts, we're losing visibility of all the different URLs as it's just keeping the most recent one.    Please can you amend the process to keep a fields records when merging, and not delete anything? Perhaps set up a review process which asks what you want to do with company data in fields that are both (keep, replace, keep both).  ...read more
