This is a huge issue and there seems to be no reason for it.  It is impossible to Delete or Void an invoice after a certain point.  If an invoice is accidentally marked paid it's locked.  You can't delete it, void it or unassociate it, so it is just permanently **bleep** up.  This is unacceptable.  Nothing should ever be impossible to undo.  I have clients now that show multiple paid invoices because one was marked paid with the wrong amount.  So a new one was created with the correct amount and now they show double paid.  To not be able to correct this is absolutely laughable. ...read more

I run the sales team of a company and ask that all my team enters all cusomter interactions (emails, meeting notes, SMS messages, call logs, etc) into HubSpot.  We use this as a system of record for all customer related activities.  Instead of emailing one another when thre is new customer information, we just use the @<person name> tagging feature in activity notes to make others aware of this new activity.  I would like to see whom, amongst those tagged, have actually acknowledged reading the information.  To do this, I would like for them to flag their acknowledgement via something like a "like" button or similar.  The idea of using emoticons like a thumbs up or thumbs down, etc is so that I can also track the reaction of those being tagged.  For example if someone thought the note was problematic and puts a thumbs down, that the individual should be adding a comment against that note to explain why.  This way, we can avoid using emails for customer related discussions altogether and leave it in Hubspot.   Yes, we can track emails in HubSpot via email tracking, and we do this also.  But for LinkedIn, SMS or physical meeting notes, etc it is not practical to use the email tracking function, so I'd like to use HubSpot for such communications between team members. ...read more

In workflows it is possible to display the activity log for a specific time. However, it would be desirable and much more practical if the activity log could be activated according to the various categories. For example, we only want the activity log for meetings. However, as far as I know, this is not possible because the activity log is then switched on for all categories (tasks, calls, mails, etc.) which automatically causes unintentionally actions in some of our processes. ...read more

It would be great to see social media activity in the customer profile activity feed. Problem:   Currently, tasks created via sequence on contacts records are not automatically associated with the company or deal records. Our team has to manually associate the company with each task in order to see activity at the company level. This is time-consuming as we use sequences for the majority of our customer outreach/follow-up reminders, and review tasks.   Solution:  Remove the system barrier to auto-associate sequence tasks created on the contact record to their primary company and better yet, also any open deals the contact is associated with. - Same process as other tasks highlighted in this article.  ...read more

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that the attachments section of Hubspot could use a facelift. Here are some of the functionalities I believe are a MUST for Hubspot going forward:   Renaming uploaded attachments Association options (add or remove associations) Easy upload of attachments to emails, notes, meetings, etc. from a contact, company, deal, or ticket Searching attachments for keywords in the title Filter attachments by date uploaded, modified, file name, file type, etc.  A view all menu  A property history menu, to see when files were uploaded when they were renamed, reassociated The option not to associate an attachment to a record  ...read more
