My company hosts events, and we would like to log this activity similarly to how we log emails, calls or meetings, but especially en mass for large numbers of contacts. I was looking at workflows to see if I could use a list as a trigger event to get this event attendance/activity logged. I was hoping to find a way to use a workflow, and membership to an uploaded attendance list as the trigger to log this event attendance activity, so each event would mark a different corresponding name to match the event.

We have reps who don't are pushed for time and struggle to note up their own calls. We would like the option for other users to log a call on their behalf. Currently the user who logs the call is noted as the one who makes the call - I would like to be able to change whose call it is. This will massively help value, as skilled reps would be able to spend longer on calls to customers, and can move quicker onto more calls if other users are able to log the call. This way they will spend longer in front of customers, and still have their call numbers accurate. Other CRM's do use this functionality. See below screen shot for idea of where it could work. I want emails sent from conversations inbox to be logged on the company that the contact is associated to. It's really important that everyone can see all emails sent to anyone at a company from just the company level, in order to get a full picture of who is talking to who and about what.

Currently no mails from a ticket are shown in the activity feed of a company when the company has been associated after the ticket has been created. This is not a good UX since I always need to open the different tickets to see what is going on. As a user I expect the mails to show in the company's activity feed once I associated it to the ticket.

At present it does not seem possible to control what information a user can access in the activity feed. Within the plethora of customisable options it seems this is one of the more obvious as some of the other access limitations you may place on a users permissions could be essentially side stepped by information served up in the activity feed. You need to give admins and their business more control over this not just at a user level. Given that a user can tune in and tune out "relevant" activity why can the business not itself define what is relevant activity for its users. This should be relatively simple to deliver with a lot of value for businesses with complex product, division, team and department structures.

HubSpot needs a feature to log custom activity types outside of the pre-defined notes, emails, calls, meetings, tasks, etc. This would allow for additional touchpoints to be tracked and provide a holistic view of the contact journey.

Hey HubSpot, The parent company record really should be the sum of it's children. It would make since for there to be a default association pattern where when contacts are added to the children companies they are also associated to the parent record so all activity flows there. then if someone wants to get specific, they could just click on the child company and view activity related to that one child company! thanks!! this is a major painpoint for adopting hubspot as our sales CRM

If one switches between the activity tab and other cards in a record, the activity tab does not remember the last searched item. Sometime, the activity searched for and found is needed for context against information on other cards. The user needs to search again for relevant activities and cannot smoothly flip back and forth between their cards for reference.

It would be great if we could add the "create [activity]" buttons in the new custom CRM cards. Ideally, the activity created via the button on that specific tab would then stay on that specific tab. Use case. Organization has a tab that highlights on specific aspect of clientele journey, but does not fully require a separate object to track and report. Organization would like to quickly make relevant commentary or tasks and have said activity be quickly identifiable.
