Controlling where replies all to emails are logged in CRM is critical for our business. The complexity of our sale involves 2 industry partners with each deal along with the prospective client. Therefore we have multiple deals in the sales pipline with each industry partner; so while we can control outgoing emails via the Outlook plug in and assoicating and logging ONLY the relevant specific deal, when our industry partners replyall, completely irrelevant communication is junking up up to 8 other deals (2 Industry Partners x5 deals each, only 1 being relevant to the conversation.) When a reply or a reply all comes from either an individual OR a group email, the default for logging in CRM should be what the original outgoing settings for logging are. (eg - I send an email to IP-A, IP-B, & Prospect and log it via Outlook plug-in to Deal 1... if IP-A replies (either to me or to all), that response should automatically be logged to Deal 1, NOT Deals 1-5 as that conversation is NOT relevant to those other deals and junks up our pipeline. At a minimum, we should be able to choose in settings whether it's automatically logged to 5 deals or one. We can tolerate lots of different deal conversations being mixed up at the contact level, but MUST be able to control what gets logged at the deal level. It gets even more complicated if multiple contacts at IP-A's company are on the thread and they reply-all as IP-A's company is on nearly ALL of the deals in our pipeline, which basically makes email logging in CRM worthless for us. ) Please prioritize email reply logging settings to accommodate this critical need!
