Example:   Trigger is "When an object is created" and Pipeline is any of "X" (Whatever you want).   Later when you do "Send Internal Email Notification" it tracks/associates that email to the ticket.   If I were to look at that ticket, I would see that Internal Email Notification in the activities.   Why this is important is, when you send Internal Email Notifications, and then people see them in their Email and "Reply" to them, it is not associated with the ticket, so none of that is tracked against the ticket.   It gets worse, because if they are replying to that email, and then copying/to:/cc: a contact, when the contact replies, it creates a new duplicate ticket (and the merge tickets loses so much information).   The fix is, to be able to associate the Internal email to the triggering object (e.g. ticket), so that any replies to that internal email get tracked against the object. ...read more

I want emails sent from conversations inbox to be logged on the company that the contact is associated to. It's really important that everyone can see all emails sent to anyone at a company from just the company level, in order to get a full picture of who is talking to who and about what. ...read more

Currently no mails from a ticket are shown in the activity feed of a company when the company has been associated after the ticket has been created. This is not a good UX since I always need to open the different tickets to see what is going on. At present it does not seem possible to control what information a user can access in the activity feed. Within the plethora of customisable options it seems this is one of the more obvious as some of the other access limitations you may place on a users permissions could be essentially side stepped by information served up in the activity feed.    You need to give admins and their business more control over this not just at a user level. Given that a user can tune in and tune out "relevant" activity why can the business not itself define what is relevant activity for its users.    This should be relatively simple to deliver with a lot of value for businesses with complex product, division, team and department structures. ...read more

we have linkedin connection requests and messages going out that aren't being reflected on hubspot records. it would be very useful to have those there. for atttribution reporting purposes but also for record transparency.    right now it would be A TON of work to manually log all the connections you send out.  ...read more

Hey HubSpot,    The parent company record really should be the sum of it's children. It would make since for there to be a default association pattern where when contacts are added to the children companies they are also associated to the parent record so all activity flows there.    then if someone wants to get specific, they could just click on the child company and view activity related to that one child company!   thanks!! this is a major painpoint for adopting hubspot as our sales CRM ...read more
