We have been informed by HubSpot there is no way to select a user's default Business Unit preference. Can you please add this feature urgently? It's very frustrating to have to change it multiple times a day to use HubSpot as I do now. When I log into HubSpot, I am in placed in the company's business unit. I am unable to access the things I need to from this business unit and have to change to my business unit. The overview tab in the middle of each record is very customizable, so we should have an option to make this the default tab. As of right now, if we select the overview tab, it will revert back to the activities tab and we keep having to switch to the overview tab to get the customized view we are looking for. The cookies will save the last viewed tab on the middle column, but not for long (maybe 5-20 minutes). If we select the overview tab, it will revert back to the activities tab within 30 minutes or less. Considering this is right smack in the middle of every record and the overview tab is highly customizable, I would assume for this to be a pretty important feature to impliment.  ...read more

Sería genial tener un lugar en Hubspot donde estén centralizados el uso y límites de la cuenta de manera similar a como vemos los contactos de marketing. Es cierto que en cada herramienta vemos cuántos elementos tenemos pero a la hora de dimensionar una cuenta y su uso, no es productivo ni eficiente.   Una única consola para ver por ejemplo : Número de usuarios, equipos, conjuntos de permisos totales y su límite en nuestra lucencia o suscripcion. Número de Assets ( Workflows,listas, correos, landings .... ) y los límites Números de informes, paneles e informes personalizados ... Número de propiedades personalizadas...   Y así con todos aquellos aspectos que conforman los límites de cuenta y que es necesario tener en cuenta a la hora de gestionar portales y administrar cuentas grandes y potencialmente escalables.   Esto facilitaría mucho la labor de los administradores no solo para un mayor control de la cuenta sino para crear procesos con los equipos en cuanto a reducir elementos y solo crear los necesarios.   -----   It would be great to have a place in Hubspot where account usage and limits are centralised in a similar way to how we view marketing contacts. It's true that in each tool we see how many elements we have but when it comes to sizing an account and its usage, it's not productive or efficient.   A single console to see for example :Number of users, teams, total permission sets and their limit in our license or subscription. Number of Assets (Workflows, lists, mailings, landings ....) and limits. Number of reports, dashboards and custom reports ... Since the launch of new Breeze / Copilot AI we have stumbled upon issues on multiple customer portals. Users without access to worfklow / automation tools are able to create workflows with prompts with Breeze AI chat. I presume this is not intended, since the workflows themselves are often full of gibberish and do not provide any value. The prompt doesn't even have to include a command to create a workflow, when Breeze interprets it as such and creates workflows. Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

Hello HubSpot Community, We're here to provide some feedback on the account default settings feature. Currently, these settings apply universally to our entire account. However, as a company with two distinct brands, we find this setup cumbersome. Having to manually edit company information for each quote due to the lack of business unit customization is time-consuming. We propose allowing customization of default settings by business unit. This would streamline our processes and reduce the risk of errors. We believe this enhancement would benefit other users managing multiple brands or entities. When looking at all leads it allows you to add coloums to see who the lead owner is and the date they were assigned. The issue is you cannot save that view so every day when you log in you have to create that view. Would be nice if it would allow you to save that or make it a global setting so everyone would not have to update it everyday.   In the picture below I added the date the lead was added and the owner. The new auto-formatting and validation feature for phone numbers is a step in the right direction.   However, the current integration seems to be missing the mark with regard to user experience. I was unable to find any articles or posts in the Help Center announcing the new auto-formatting feature. The only Knowlege Base article that pops up when searching "phone number validation" is a detailed breakdown of editing default contact properties, and then there is only a reference to the validation and formatting being applied "automatically by Hubspot based on the country code."   This feature is certainly a step in the right direction, but several improvements are needed to improve the user experience and make the feature more functional overall (noting that recent comments on an "old" idea thread are already being discussed here; skip to page 7).   Suggested improvements include:   Global Setting to Enable/Disable auto-formatting at the account level - currently, the feature is enabled by default with no disable setting available Global Setting to assign a default Country Code - currently, the Country Code must be selected manually for every new contact (see screenshot below) Bulk edit phone numbers to apply Country Code format & validation -- currently, only able to apply formatting & validation when editing one individual contact at a time OR when adding to new contacts manually added (not via web forms -- this is needed, too) Retain "number only" format for export and/or sync to other apps or integrations to remove non-number characters (parentheses, plus sign, spaces) Default behavior of phone number formatting & validation when creating a new contact:     There are likely other enhancements that other users, especially those not based in the US, would appreciate. ...read more
