We need the ability to grant users access to multiple teams so when they are creating deals, companies or contacts they can specify which team they are doing this for.   This will allow our support staff to support multiple individuals in a way they can't at the moment and in reality, in many businesses, an individual will often work with more than just their own team. The ability to share specific dashboards with specific teams or users. As any company, we have access rights to information as well as programs.  Currently, anyone in the company can see all shared dashboards, unless I keep them private, or I would have to create personal dashboards on each users pc and also manage those dashboards from the user's physical pc/account with any future changes or updates.  This has become an issue here within the ranks because, in essence, a temp employee can see the same information our CEO can see. It would be good if we can controll log in based on the IP address that user access to the account.    The reason being is our clients wants to limit the access from external net work. This way, we can ensure that the access from external network is secured.    Also, it would be great if we can export or get logs of the user activity withint the account. We just switched over to HubSpot from Salesforce and are trying to do an audit on which properties we have - so we can find duplicates and either merge or delete them. Whenever any changes made on a lead i.e. creating lead, task, note, mail sent to customer etc, all these activities are tracked on user's timeline only. Please add support for SAML authentication. Currently your account security seems to be subpar compared to the rest of the industry. From what I can tell there's no two-factor support, no ability to set minimum password requirements nor support to just force the use of Google login. With SAML support we can manage our entire login security stack (user account verification, two-factor decision, password requirements). With HubSpot containing high sensative information I can't believe this hasn't come up before.   At the very least just let us force users to have to use Google to login, then we can mandate some requirements through that. ...read more

We would like to integrate Hubspot with our existing Microsoft based infrastructure by impellent Single Sign On (SSO) using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).   Use Case: A Person has been given an account that is managed by our organisation’s Active Directory Service. This Person signs into one of our organisation’s PCs or Online Services (e.g. Microsoft’s Office 365) and an Authentication Token is generated. Assuming a trust has been set-up between organisation’s Hubspot Service and our Federation Service; the User navigates to our Hubspot Portal and is granted access (authorised) based upon permissions set by Hubspot service.   Definitions & Descriptions: Active Directory is used to manage account properties including Username and Passwords. This issue has come up more than once for various needs: We need to add Partner (rather than other), some people are just business contacts (more details would delight me more than "other"). The inability to edit these doesn't give our business control of the stages and doesn't make us happy and hinders our business process.    YES, we create custom properties to handle this, but it doesn't simplify our lives.
