Making your customers pay top $ for an open standard authentication solution (SAML 2.0) isn't cool. Using SAML 2.0, you wouldn't need to create database entries for individual, static user accounts - just store meta data for the federation and authentication. It would make Hubspots infrastructure more efficient and your customers more scalable and secure. Enabling 2FA is great for securing those individual accounts, but without SAML 2.0 against an IDP (IDentity Provier) there is no form of central access control or accounting. Buying Hubspot Enterprise for SAML 2.0 is like forcing someone to buy a Ferrari just to get a working seatbelt. In the current threat landscape, every company needs to do their part to provide the least attack surface and the most accessible security controls. Please consider changing your plan structure for how SAML 2.0 is used.
