Great minds think alike

While it's always great to help out others in the community and have that reciprocated when looking for solutions myself, it really doesn't make sense to me that the users receiving answers cannot easily view a full profile of those that help them. I've written out my profile, but none of the information is visible to other users. It would be great if anyone I help could actually see who I am and learn a little more about our agency, with my signature on comments linked to our company website etc.   I'm in no way wanting to turn the community into a lead-gen farm - and those type of comments should be actively discouraged - but it would make it far more worth mine and other users time to post solutions regularly, if doing so could result in some inbound leads!  If the helpee has an immediate need for more of the same expertise, it makes sense that they be presented with the ability to easily find out more should they wish. We require that all of the systems/online services used by our sales teams require single sign on (SSO).   Giving hundreds of people across the country the ability to sign in to Hubspot (or any other service) with a simple email address and password is too much of a security risk. (Even with the ability to toggle Hubspot user permissions based on ownership.)   The new Hubspot to Salesforce integration displays a visualforce module that requires our Salesforce users to have Hubspot accounts. But during the Hubspot user setup process, they have the option to create a password.    We need SSO to be the only way to access our Hubspot portal both via a web browser and Salesforce.    If we can not require SSO we will need to revert to a previous version of the Salesforce integration.  ...read more

When attempting to add the upgraded HubSpot visualforce page to a tab in the Lightning object Edit page in Salesforce, the visualforce pages are not available.  Please enable the 'Available for Lightning Experience, Lightning Communities, and the mobile app' setting to the HubSpot visualforce pages.  I would be nice not to be restricted to adding the visualforce page components to the already cluttered page layouts.   ...read more

Hi,   (Allow to) Send more than one DOI (Double Opt In) Email Think about this case: A user submit a form and recieves an DOI Mai. He does NOT confirm the email in this case. Later, he visits our website again and fills out another (or the same) form AGAIN. What happens? Nothing, because he had not confirmed the first opt in mail before. But maybe heinterested in confirming his mail now, because he has other intentions to submit the form. We lost this user and potential client forever.   So it should be possible to (automatically) send more than one DOI Mail (e.g. after a period of time or if the user fills out another form).   Opt In Reminder Mails A user recieved an Opt In Mail and did not confirm his identity - e.g. because he forgot it or does not find the time to confirm). From our perspective it make sense to send him a (final and unique) SECOND DOI MAIL after a period of time. I think this DOI Email Reminder will increase our Opt In Rate elementary.  Using an email workflow is not possible, because the user did not give us permission to send him marketing emails.    Both features seem to be gdpr conform and could work within the EU.   ...read more

Haven't seen this setting - if it exists, feel free to jump in!   As a super admin - I would like the ability to log-in as or impersonate other users. This would allow me to diagnose issues and ensure settings are correct more easily.   For example - changing the bcc email address for one user - I could log into the others accounts and change that for all rather than 1) having all their passwords 2) going over to their computers to change it for them or 3) relying on them to change it themselves.   Our CMS has this feature and our CRM (Sugar CRM) has this feature and it is very useful. ...read more

In relation to GDPR we need to ensure that our data is protected the best possible way, and the Hubspot setup right now is that each individual user needs to turn it on.  I'm suggesting an option for the Admin to turn it on for all users, so that they're forced to have it, just like we have in Salesforce.  ...read more
