Hello,   When setting up deal based workflows, it would be great if you could see the workflow activity (ie emails sent etc) in the activity log of the deals enrolled in the workflow (like you already can with contacts).   For example: Deal A is enrolled in a sales followup workflow which sends Contact A (associated with that deal) an email. If the salesman who owns Deal A looks at Deal A's activity log, there is nothing to show the deal is enrolled in that workflow.    However, the automated email sent through the workflow is visible in the activity log of Contact A (but not Deal A).   This is really frustrating and a waste of time for the sales people to have to click to Contact A to view workflow activity instead of being able to find all the information/deal history they need in the activity log of Deal A.   Please could this feature be added to Hubspot?   Many thanks.  ...read more

I can use list membership as a trigger in a workflow to assign specific tasks to users when a contact gains an association label for the first time, but I've run into this problem:    We have an association label for contacts who are supposed to receive billing information for a specific client. We have contacts who are associated to multiple clients (deals) and are supposed to receive billing info for some and not others. When they are moved to a billing role on an additional deal, we need to assign specific tasks to specific users that include information about who got billing permissions and for which client (deal), but we can't use list membership to trigger this because these contacts are already part of the billing list because of other deals. Likewise, each deal usually has more than one billing contact, so we can't count on something that only looks at whether the deal uses this label either.  For properties, I've been able to build workflows that can assign a task to any user telling them what the old value was, what the new value is, and what they need to do about the change, including if a value was cleared. I'd love the find a way to do this with associatinon labels, even if it requires building complex workflows as we've done for properties.   It would look something like having the ability to create tasks with tokens: {contact} was given the {association label} role for {deal name}. Take actions xyz... For client {deal name}, {contact}'s roles have been changed from {former association labels} to {current association labels} The following permissions were removed from {contact} for client {deal name}: {removed association labels} ...read more

I was working on creating a list and had a decent amount of work done, and accidently went to a new tab before saving the changes. Yes this is my fault for not checking, but I think it would be great for HubSpot to have a contingency message before leaving a page you are editing to save the changes vs. letting you leaving on accident.  ...read more

We have cases where uses have opted out at an earlier point in time and then create a new free trial of our video learning platform uQualio.   Creating a new free trial triggers a workflow from our application. The workflow opts the user into three subscriptions and send a email.    The email is not sent as the user cannot have the subscription status updated from a workflow. This is only possible manually or by the user herself.    So now I have a manual task or alternatively as re-subscribed user who will not get the marketing automation based communication.   Requirement It must be possible to remove a contact's opt-out in a workflow or that an opt-in to a communication in a workflow removes any opt-out settings.   ...read more

I am currently using a workflow to create contact records and copy certain property values over when a certain criteria is met. I am creating a new contact record when an email is entered into a "guest propery" This works ONLY if the contact email does not already exist in our Hubspot.   It does not work if the email exists, so the workflow ends up failing and the record does not get updated with the properties I want copied over.    I'd like a "Create OR Update Record" Action in workflows so that I can still achieve the goal of updating contact properties for another record.     ...read more
