HubSpot should offer an option within the Landing Page settings that allows users to choose whether the embedded form should follow the Landing Page theme or retain its original form layout. Currently, when this option is not available, the form inherits the full styling of the landing page, which limits customization unless each form is manually edited. This becomes especially inefficient when managing multiple landing pages with similar layouts but different purposes. For example, when cloning landing pages and forms, users are forced to manually adjust each form’s layout to restore its intended styling — a process that is time-consuming and error-prone. In one specific case, I noticed that the form fields on a landing page lacked border lines. After a screen-sharing session with HubSpot support, it was confirmed that the landing page template and associated styles were overriding the form’s default design. The only workaround was to manually adjust the form styling, as there’s currently no setting to prevent the landing page theme from altering form elements. While there is a knowledge base article titled "Set up and style forms on HubSpot pages", it doesn't address the core issue — the need to manually edit each form individually to maintain consistent styling. Suggested Solution: HubSpot could implement a simple checkbox option in the Landing Page editor, labeled something like: “Use original form styling instead of page theme styling.” By selecting this option, the form would retain its original layout and design, independent of the landing page’s theme. This would give users greater control and eliminate the need to manually re-style forms after cloning or applying templates. The HubSpot support team and I agreed that the current process is not practical. As a result, I requested that an internal note be submitted to the HubSpot development team to consider this functionality in a future release.
