Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

Dear HubSpot, I just want to point out that a vast majority of your users are not decision makers... were are merely Sales Professionals.  Being in Sales, we rely on access to information within the system.  You covering up the information we need access to is counterproductive.  The message bars are a big turn off as they do not make us feel all warm and cozy. Not everyone has multiple curved screen monitors with more desktop realestate than one knows what to do with it. Many of us are mobile, working on laptops with limited comforts and ergonimics. In addition, again as we are Sales Professionals, thus we do not have administrative rights nor do we have decision making power within our organization.  If you'd like to promote those who do have authority to purchase more features from you, make them visible to those with Admin rights so the rest of us can go about our day without further obstructions. Or, simply make them removable instead of a thorn in our sides. The choice is yours, just please hear us and get them out of our way and day. As it stands, updating the favicon icon applies globally to all of our pages. While this may suffice for a single business, it becomes problematic when dealing with multiple businesses that require distinct favicon icons for their respective pages.   Therefore, I would like to kindly request that you consider implementing a feature that allows for page-level customization of the favicon icon. I'm trying to add a link to the marketing email subscription preferences page in the footer of our website. I've been told by support this isn't currently possible, and I found this other community post mentioning a need for it, too. This would be for the marketing team, specifically using email and controling the website The goal is to allow email recipients to be able to manage their email preferences without having to search for an email in their inbox. This will allow users/clients/prospects that have opted-into email to be able to manage their subscriptions that much more easily. Adding that goodwill and user-friendly experience for the users. Benefiting the company's image/brand. Benefiting HubSpot's image/brand for being more user-friendly for their customer's, too. I can't find a good example of this. But an almost is Workday - they have a "Subscriptions" link in their footer that goes to this link that makes people put in their email, to get an email, to click on a link to go to their preference center. - It should be possible to have less steps: link in footer takes you to a landing page, that landing page makes you put in your email, then you can adjust your email preferences in the same window. ...read more

When an image is added to any module, the file name is added as the Alt Text by default, but once you change the alt text, it's very difficult to find the file name of the image (unless using the dev console to inspect the page preview).   When a video is added, the file name is visible so you can still hover over it to see what file is being used.   It would be great if the file name could be displayed in the UI (in addition to the thumbnail) so it is easier to manage images.   Who: theme developers, and all theme users   What: identify the image used Value: save a lot of time tracking down the exact file name of the image used on a page/module   It's possible to see the File Name when images are added to the Rich Text Editors, so something similar would be perfect:   ...read more
