Quick Question – any chance you can add additional Due Date Options in HubSpot Tasks?  You have today, tomorrow, 2 days, 3 days, 1 week  – but leave out 4 days??  ( I could really use that one – why did HS leave that only one out?) You have Months, but leave out 2 Months, 4 months and 5 months.  All just as important as 1, 3, and 6 months.  It would be useful and efficient to be able to draw down on that tab instead of having to go in and “Custom Date” those other options.    ...read more

It would be amazing to have task-based workflows!   We have various things generating tasks - especially sequences. Task queues don't solve every problem - and many situations are more nuanced. As a result, tasks have become more cumbersome to manage - costing our team time rather than helping us save time when getting things done.   Would be AMAZING to have task-based workflows that: trigger when things happen to tasks to create actions and automation in other areas of HubSpot take action like making edits to tasks that have been created by users or through other means of automation (workflows + sequences)   This would allow us to assign or reassign tasks, edit other task properties, and even delete/complete tasks, all based on numerous conditions across HubSpot. ...read more

Posting this on behalf of a user. Currently, within the Prospecting Queue, HubSpot will only show the first 20 items. For example, if the user has 50 overdue tasks and clicks on 'Start all 50 overdue tasks', the prospecting queue will only show the first 20 tasks overdue. After the user completes a task, HubSpot will automatically populate task no. 21 in the list of items.   It would be beneficial for many users if this was set to allow users to show all the tasks in the queue especially since in some cases there are more than 20 items in the list.    ...read more

We want to use "Tasks" more intensively to register and measure all marketing and sales activities. But we cannot create a user-defined Property - please make this available. It should also be possible to see "Tasks" on the contact card on the right together with Deals, Tickets and other info. Recently HubSpot released a new tool, the Prospecting Workspace. With that release an exiting tool was modified as well, for worse!   The Tasks section used to have a right side panel which showed at a quick glance the current activity status. Tasks, calls, emails, all in one convenient place.   Now that is replaced by an "ad" to a the new Prospecting tool, which is paywalled behind a paid Sales seat. I do not argue that Prospecting might be a fitting paid Sales functionality, but Tasks in themselves, together with full and easy visibility, are not and should not be! We have lots of paid Service users who use tasks as well, for example.   So the fact that a new tool impacted negatively an otherwise perfectly functional tool seems like a delibrate strategy to push people into spending more, which is outrageous! Otherwise I can't find a reason for which the old panel would had to be removed, less so repurposed as an ad.   HubSpot team, instead of taking away features please focus on fulfilling requests which sit in this community pages for years on end!   Update: in the recent weeks the hyperlink to the Prospecting tool has been removed. So the "ad" aspect from before is gone, however I have recieved confirmation from mutiple HubSpot agents that currently there is no plan to bring back the old side panel. The reasoning being "maintenance cost".   I assumed that meant server capacity, so I proposed that a "half-way" alternative be provided where we can embed self-made reports where the side bar used to be. No feedback on that yet either! Is it possible to create reocurring tasks, such Ticklers?  I like to set-up ticklers to contact  certain customers on a regular basis.  Is this possible in Hubspot?   Barry ...read more

It'd be great to upload a bunch of tasks and add them to a "hold queue" and when a user gets low on tasks, it automatically pulls from the "hold queue" and assigns them another 25 or 50. For companies that are using call tasks for activities, this would be a game-changer. ...read more

A number of colleagues have complained that they're forgetting to tick the 'create follow up task' when they complete a task on the contact view/on task view, which results in opportunities going cold. It would be great if there was the option to have the ability to have the box automatically ticked for teams/users, which if no follow up is needed, this could then be unticked.  ...read more
