What good is the new SMS tool if I have no way of seeing if people replied? What if they opt out? How am I supposed to know that? Also, why wouldn't the messages and the replies and clicks be logged to the contact record? Seem like a lot is missing from this new tool. At the moment, Hubspot-provided numbers can only be used for inbound/outbound calling (eg: similar to a landline). This means that text messages will not go through and will be rejected.   I understand that HubSpot-provided numbers are attributed by Twilio's service, which cannot be used for SMS purposes at this time. I propose the addition of native text messaging capabilities within the platform, eliminating the need to switch to a different tab to use other tools like Aloware.   Text messaging has become an integral part of modern communication, with businesses relying on it to reach their customers quickly and effectively. Currently, HubSpot offers excellent features for managing customer relationships, sales pipelines, and email marketing campaigns. However, the absence of built-in text messaging functionality leaves us somewhat limited when it comes to engaging with our leads and customers via this increasingly popular channel.   I believe that adding native text messaging to HubSpot would align with the platform's goal of being a comprehensive CRM and marketing automation solution. It would empower us to communicate with our audience more efficiently, ultimately driving better business outcomes.   I kindly request the HubSpot development team to consider implementing this feature. I just realized that when you log an SMS you don't get to select an outcome like you do for a call. I was considering having my team switch over to logging texts as SMS instead of logging them as calls, but when I saw that we can't track the outcome, I realized that doesn't help us. It would be helpful for SMS to show up under calls instead of only under the Activity tab. When I'm trying to follow the outreach on a deal or with a contact, I can't easily see all the phone interactions (calls and texts). Could SMS be added under the call tab? Seems obvious that Hubspot should have Direct SMS capabilities. Not mass messaging, just direct one to one messaging. If Hubspot added that it would be perfect. I have to depend on using a seperate sales system, while using hubspot for marketing, because it lacks this one feature.
