Hi there, we are looking at building quotes in HubSpot, and it looks good so far, but when we send them to a prospect, it just sends the quote and that's it. It would be great if there was a button for them to push "ACCEPT" which could trigger a workflow and some actions in API, for example to create a draft invoice in quickbooks or something. It would be great if you could make old products inactive to clean up the database yet have a record of past products.    This would allow only the current product to be available for selectin by the sales team without loosing track of products / prices that were previously available.    There are other CRMs that allow you to make items inactive without having to delete the data completely.  ...read more

Dear product team,  I work in sales. We have some line items that are products (e.g. Zortify iHPT Teaming | Report (DE)) and some that are services (e.g. Zortify Consulting (DE)). We offer those line items also as a package to our customers (e.g. Zortify iHPT Teaming | Prozess (DE)" which consists of 1) "Zortify iHPT Teaming | Report (DE)" and 2) "Zortify Consulting (DE)). For packages sales has to remember every time which line items (service & product) were included in this package. This is why I am searching for a solution to add different service & product line items as subitems to one package. Subitems because we can display them separately in our sales dashboard after closing the deal.      Your support told me that this is so far no HubSpot functionality. Hello, I have a client who needs to restrict access to the quotes section. Apparently, anyone who has a sales pro or sales enterprise license can go to the budget section and therefore view or export their information.   That is, EVEN IF you only have permissions to view and edit the deals you own, you can see the quotes sent to any company or lead. It does not make any sense.   Does anyone know how we can restrict access? Is this a privacy bug on Hubspot's part? Thanks ...read more

The products data management area does not support adding columns for custom properties.  This would be a useful feature, as it would match the other object types.   In addition, the ability for workflows to tap into "Folder" as a product property (like it is on product creation) would be incredibly helpful for situations where you wish to organize a large amount of products into folders based on a property value. ...read more
