It turns out that the "One-time" label indicates that no specific value is assigned to the billing frequency property.    This is strange, since one-time indicates one-time.  As a result of this, you cannot exclude or only select one-time billing frequencies in reports, which is relevant when combining for example a Saas offering with a one-time implementation fee.  The company wants to understand it's SaaS business in ARR so create reports without the implementation fees.  ...read more

Salespeople should not be able to add a product to a quote and then edit the price from double clicking the grey box. This is a horrendous flaw in the quoting system. We create products and prices for a reason. There should be a way to turn off the ability to edit the price once added to a quote. If they cannot change the products then clearly they should not be able to change them once added to the actual quote! ...read more

In our case, when we quote, we must enter the number of boxes that we sell and that calculates the value of mt2 that is in those boxes. It would be good if the Hubspot quoter allows these calculations to be made according to the database that we load from the products ...read more

Quote Payment milestones must be entered manually. Each template starts with 2 milestones and additional ones must be added manually. Price must be entered manually as well. It would save large amounts of time if quote payment milestones could be templated as a percentage of total price. An example photo is attached.    ...read more

We are currently looking to better utilize DocuSign and HubSpot Quotes to align our client service work.   Two improvements that would help:   1.  Integrate DocuSign Click as a one-click approval clickwrap function for approving quotes by a customer.   This is helpful when we want current customers to approve iterative purchase orders or plans.    2.  Allow a 'push' feature to upload a PDF of a quote into a DocuSign envelope without having to manually download, leave the platform, upload, and send to a client when we are trying to include the quote with additional contract documents and onboarding information.   ...read more

Hubspot Line item editor does not allow flexible terms when Billing Frequency = Annual, is selected. This is a major incovenience when our internal price list for our subscription products is defined for a 12month term,   In my industry, we sell any flexible term there is and invoice once a year for any 'yearfrac' duration there is remaing.   E.g. we sell a 18 month term for a product with list price = 100.   Then we have:   Duration is 18 months = 1.5 years 2 billing events 1st years invoice is 100, 2nd years invoice is 50. This system limitation should be removed. Not every saas product is billed monthly or as a one-off, so this standardization is very inconvinient for larger saas portfolios. I'd have to convert my list price to a monthly price in order to work with Hubspot CPQ line editor, that's just bad user experience. I've configured a 12 month list price using Salesforce CPQ which worked just fine. Furthermore, there is NO reason this would skew the measures calculated above. When sending out a quote, multiple signatures may be needed from the customer side. Sometimes, they do not know who will sign as they have multiple people able to do so. At the moment, we must have a contact in Hubspot to connect to the quote for an e-signature. There should be an option to add as many e-signatures as required but have anyone at the company sign them since we won't always know who will sign. ...read more

Hi HubSpot Community! I came across a most annoying niggle today. I added a new customised quote template and wanted to re-arrange the order in which said templates appeared to my sales reps when in the quote wizard. I tried everything before relenting and contacting Support, who said that this is currently not customisable and quote templates will appear in the order they are created.  I am requesting that this dropdown view display items based on the name of the template itself NOT just the create date. Some product properties would only apply to physical products vs services. It would be nice to be able to scope properties by the type of product you are creating. That way when you create a product you are not presented with unrelated properties to fill in.   For example: A property of weight would only apply to a physical product.      ...read more
