I'm a Sales Operations manager at my company and I'm trying to take advantage of the quotes & e-signature feature on Hubspot. The problem is that when I go to add the terms of my contract into the designated "purchase terms" area, there is a character limit and I quickly run out of space. This is also without including my T&C.  On quotes one can add a link in the purchase terms so i tried to add a link to my T&C document. However when I go to sign the doc within the Hubspot/hellosign interface, the T&C are not clickable. Also, once the document is signed and I use the download feature, the T&C link is not clickable. Without the ability to attach our entire contracts and get a signoff on on the whole agreement, the quotes functionality is useless to our company.  It is a shame being that it was one of the features that really excited us when deciding to go to for hubspot over a competitor. In an ideal situation the purchase terms section would raise its word count limit and we should be able to attach a T&C document. In the signature process, a user would "click here to confirm you have read T&C" and the T&C doc would be part of the signed & downloadable document that Hubspot currently provides. With the way the quote tool currently works, we have a total price column that will show the cost per the recurring interval of time. For example, if the product is a recurring monthly payment, it will show "$ price / month," rather than the total price for the complete term of the quote.   Customers would appreciate a way to toggle between this view, and simply showing the total price. The inability to change this could lead to confusion with customers, and having the ability to show the total price under the total price column would help out customers out. ...read more

I've been setting up products in the library for our Sales team. All our product prices are in EUR but then we have Sales guys in the UK using a different currency, GBP.   At the moment, I need to manually change/set up prices in GBP for each product. We only want the deal amounts to be our software licenses and not include the hardware amount. Right now when you create a quote it automatically updates the deal amount. Sales reps have to manually update the deal amount. This causes issues with our forecast.  ...read more

Currently, Hubspot defaults to a "90 day" expiration date when a quote is created in the system. There are other options: 30 days, 60 days, custom. However, those need to be manually changed.    For our business, 30 days is the sweet spot for expiration once a quote is created. If Sales forgets to manually change from "90 days", the prospect now has ability to reference the quote for a longer amount of time.    I'm proposing that on the back-end settings of Quotes, the user can set the default expiration time to whatever best suits their business.    Let's make it happen!!!  ...read more

Hi I would like to submit for Products not to be associated just to a deal. This information should be able to pull across to the company record, the contact level and then a workflow to tickets could be implemented.    This would mean that when a customer submits a support ticket then the company or contact record is connected to the ticket...if Products could pull through to the ticket my support team will then know which license the customer subscribes to and then the correct support can be given to the client as the support team will easily be able to view what license the customer has.  ...read more

How come we can't add "cost per unit" as a percentage of price, like we can for discounts? This seems like something that is pretty basic and we've been disappointed that this hasn't been added yet. For companies that sell based on a margin, like insurance agents, real estate agents, and investment managers, we can't automatically calculate the the cost per unit and margin. Somewhat related, why can't we add in a commission which further reduces the profit margin? It seems this teamed with the cost per unit as a percentage would create a very robust system. ...read more
