We have moved to HubSpot payment links for all our subscriptions. We have had multiple customers ask if they can login somewhere to see when their next payment date is, when their subscription ends etc.   It would be super helpful if there was some type of login portal they could self serve on rather than a lot of inquiries direct to us. ...read more

Hubspot payments: From payment settings, right now you can enable or disable default checkout settings, for example collect billing address, collect shipping address, etc. But when I go to create a quote with payments, I can tick or untick any of these settings again.   I would like to lock these settings for the users of my organization. They can still choose to enable or disable payments in a quote,  but if they enable payments they cannot choose whether to tick or untick the collect billing, shipping addresses, and save checkout info options. We try to use HubSpot Commerce, but run into walls for many areas.    This is one of them. We need an event for 'Abandoned Car' to trigger a workflow when the user does not fill out the credit card details and submit the payment.   It should work like Stripe's Abandonded Cart event. This is triggered on non-finalized checkouts after 24 hours. You can subscribe to the event and then trigger the workflow you need.   When a Payment Link is created in HubSpot, then it must be possible to state if an Abandonded Cart event must be created. Hi so a feature request is to de-select sending a payment receipt.    I think they send a receipt after every transaction through a payment link, or they send a receipt every month if they're on a subscription.   I wouldn't want to do that. Especially in high ticket sales, you want client to focus on onboarding and getting started. Sending the receipt after a consultation or sending a receipt after every month of being on subscription increases probability of refunds.    It's a subtle thing. Sales is about closing deals too, just saying that having option to de-select sending receipt would be good to have. We often need discount codes to only apply for a certain period of time. It would be great if the Discount Code functionality had a "Set inactive after" field or, even better, allowed you to apply both Start and End dates to the discount.  ...read more

There is a problem with the way fees are charged.  Deposit should be the full amount and then a fee charged afterwards.  Here is why:   We create Hubspot Deals with an amount.  The Hubspot invoice and payment is created from the Deal Amount.  The Remaining Balance is calculated from the Deal Amount minus the Payments.  The customer pays this amount using Hubspot Payments.  BUT then the amount that actually hits our account is lessened by the fee, so the payment shows as less than the balance due.     Quickbooks is aware of this issue and so if I use their payments, they deposit the entire payment, THEN charge the fee as a separate charge.  This does exactly the right thing.  Balance is paid, then we have an expense.    Right now we have to create a fix in Hubspot to subtract the fee from the amount owed, AND then in Quickbooks add a journal entry to correct for it to correct the remaining balance for every single deal that runs through Hubspot Payments.  It is to the point that we would rather take a QBO payment than a Hubspot payment because it causes several extra steps if I use HubSpot payments. ...read more

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the labeling of invoice statuses in HubSpot. Currently, when a new invoice is generated, it is marked as "Finalized Invoice." However, this terminology can be a bit misleading, as "finalized" implies the process is complete, while in reality, this action represents the creation of a new invoice. I suggest changing the label to "Created Invoice" to make it clearer that this step signifies the initial creation of the invoice, not its finalization. Dear Team,   In many countries we have requirements to add certrain country-specific information (like HBR-Number, juristication etc. in Germany).   It would be great if we could get a customizable footer, where we can add such specific information. I already know the workaround via the comment field or adding a number to the company, but tbh. these invoices look unprofessional. __ Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for? Every customer wanting to create invoices via hubspot located in the EU (maybe even other countries) What is their goal? To create legal-binding invoices in a b2b context What value will this add?
