I would like to turn off online payments by default in my invoices because they are paid by bank transfers, so no link is needed in the invoices and it just leads to confusion for my customers. I can turn this off manually in the invoice before sending it, but the default setting to do this is forcing me to choose a payment method. See the attached images for the default setting that could be used, but won't save unless a payment method is selected, and for the images showing the option being turned off manually in each invoice, each time I want to send one. There is currently no way to set the default payment method when recording a payment   I suggest that this be changed and added to the default settings for Invoices. The selected default in our case would be "Bank transfer", but the hard-coded default is set to "Check". Invoicing is currently clunky, inefficient, and requires too much time. My goal is to make it as streamlined and efficient as possible by setting up the defaults that are required in my business.   It sounds like a little thing, so why bother? This is just one example of how more thought needs to be put into providing defaults, instead of assuming a hard-coded choice will be good for everyone. Hey, our products range from 29 to 200k euro/dollar. we implemented the whole deals and quoting worfklow. Now we get stuck as we cant create an invoice out of the quote for wire/bank transfer (the common method in europe) above 10k.    Would it be possible to raise the limit? otherwise we would need to create a very important part of the crm (invoicing) manually out of the system which lowers a lot the advantage of using hubspot/a crm ...read more

when using hubspot payments and/or Stripe integration, a thank you email is automatically sent to the customer and if marketing contacts are included in our Hubspot plan, then the customer is marked as a marketing contact unless we have the Professional or Enterprise plan to use automations/workflows to reinstate the contact as non-marketing again.    TL,DR: Dont make customers who pay using hubspot payments/stripe integration, marketing contacts automatically.
