We have a client who runs a membership organization. Some members pay automatically via a card on file (recurring payment subscriptions) and most are invoiced (recurring billing subscriptions) but on the contact records we can't tell by looking at the subscription card which is which.  It would be great for the default card to indicate it as such.   ...read more

A client of ours is in need of freezing her payments with us for a period of time. So instead of cancelling out the subscription, it would be nice if there was a freeze option where the money will not draft out of her account for a certain amount of time and we could un-freeze it when she is ready to start making payments again.  ...read more

I recently found out that when syncing data, particularly invoices, payments, or subscriptions from Stripe, they do not get recorded as such in HubSpot.   It gets recorded and tied to the contact but I can't track how much revenue we've made within HubSpot because it's only recorded as a paid invoice rather than a payment or subscription.    I would also think that an open invoice would be converted or auto populate a deal that is tied to the contact or company.    Does anybody have suggestions for a work around or encouragement on using HubSpot solely for all payment processing? I'd still like all historical payment data to show up in HubSpot so i don't have to reference Stripe to see how much in revenue we've actually done. ...read more

I understand of course that some guardrails must be in place to ensure that the emails remain strictly transactional (as opposed to promotional), but it would be great if there were some way to customize the email receipts that our users receive based on the payment they've made.   For example, I work for a small nonprofit and we are weighing whether to use HubSpot Payments to receive donations via ACH. We are currently using HubSpot Payments to receive application fees. For a donation payment, I would want to be able to customize the email with tax-deductible information alongside some brief copy thanking the user for their support. And of course, I would not want that same copy to be in an email receipt for an application fee.   I know that I can achieve the same result in some way by setting up a workflow automation that would deploy an email after the payment has been received. However, we don't have the transactional email add-on since we don't have a big enough use case to justify the cost, and I don't want the user's marketing contact status to affect whether they receive the more helpful follow-up or not. And, of course, we can follow up manually after the fact, but as a small nonprofit, the more automation the better.   The less software the better, too — we are trying to avoid purchasing a fundraising-focused CRM since the combination of HubSpot and Fundraise Up covers most of our needs.    Thank you!  ...read more
