Hello All,   We created an LBO.   $1 for 5 days of access to our product.   After that 5 days it charges $99 a month on a subscripition until its cancelled.   example here - https://app.hubspot.com/payments/po8tNVrOSF?referrer=PAYMENT_LINK   Currently there is no way for the end user to cancel the subsricption themselves, they need to contact our staff to cancel it before the $99 hits, or at any point in time in which they want to cancel...Which is a huge time suck for our team for such a small offer.   We expect to sell 1000s of these offers, so the time demand to manually cancel these would be overwelhming.   There is also no way for the end user to update credit card info, they have to reach out every single time as well, which is just clunky in the client experience. ...read more

While the discount code functionality is great, the issue I have with it is when you create deals automatically using the out of the box functionality, the amount field is populated with the subtotal pre-discount code being applied. This creates the problem of inflating our revenue.  We can fix using a workflow for single payments, but it wouldn't work for subscriptions. I think populating the amount field with the actual revenue number would be much more logical.  ...read more

Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for? This feature would be most usefull in accounting and billing envirnments where you need to process a-la-carte or delayed-start payments. What is their goal? The goal is to provide a more seamless way to process customer payments for smaller authorized orders without the customer needing to complete a payment link. For signed contracts that don't have a specific start date and you need to manually begin charging. What value will this add? This offers a greater ease of ordering for customers - some may authorize a payment over email or a recorded call. Billing departments have more flexibility for signed agreements with delayed start dates that are variable. Are there examples of other places or products who have this feature? Wish you had the ability to enter cash payments for quotes. Some institutions pay by purchase order which in turn results in a check being sent. No way to handle that in the system currently. This accounts for 25% of our client base. ...read more
