When a transactional email is sent to a contact we see the activity within the contact's activity timeline. However, we don't actually see what the contact received until the contact replies and the reply is logged to the CRM. Below is the example of what we see. Marketing email sent to John Doe <jdoe@test.com Transactional email Marketing email name Green Dot - Delivered   It would be extremely helpful if we could see a screenshot of the email the contact received. For example, when the transactional email is sent, during the sending process the software could take a screenshot of how it rendered and place that screen capture below the transactional email activity that is currently in the contact's timeline.   One of the key advantages of sending emails via a sequence vs transactional emails is that the sequence email content is displayed on the contact's activity timeline. We have a need for the option to add CC and BCC to emails that are sent from HubSpot. We have two important use cases for this. Use case 1: We have a registration form set up on our website. When someone registers, they receive an automated email from us through HubSpot saying "Thank you for registering!". Since we have a lot of different people signing up, it's very important for us to follow up on that email. If we could add CC to me on the email that is sent out, I could pick up the conversation with the person registering very quickly. I could simply press "Reply" on the email and continue the conversation with the lead. If I want to do this now with today's HubSpot solution, I'd have to copy/paste the lead's email address from the internal registration confirmation email, write a subject line that wouldn't confuse the lead, and then write the message to the lead. This delays the response time dramatically, and takes up substantially more resources. Use case 2: If we could add BCC to emails as well, it would give people two great advantages; (1) HubSpot emails could easily be integrated with almost ANY CRM (ex. Hi there   As many may have noticed, big brands are starting to add in the option to view UI in Dark Mode. When we send out an email, our branding currently uses dark text - as most email clients (up until now) have had a light background. If we were to send out an email with our current logo and the user views it with their UI set to Dark Mode, it will appear like this: We have reached out to find out whether HubSpot can send out the suitable logo version (either light text or dark text) depending on the user's interface preference, but there is currently no support for this.   Has anyone else experienced this same issue? We are not interested in changing our branding just to resolve this issue (some suggestions have been to add a stroke around the text or change the shade of the writing...)   Can HubSpot please consider support for this? Currently the email builder only provides two kinds of smart rules: for list subscription and for lifecycle stage. I find these two options too limiting, as I would like to be able to create rules based on geographical region or language.   Therefore I would like to expand the smart rules to more properties if not all properties for multiple objects (account, contact, etc.) ...read more

HubSpot currently does not allow "is less than" or "is more than" filters for specific email activity date refinement.   Reason to request this change is to solve for a nurture stream workflow with a weekly enrollement that sends 1-3 dynamic marketing emails. I need to set a branch specific to if someone clicked the link in an email sent earlier in the workflow. I can add the "Marketing email activity" filter for "contact clicked a link in email" but I need to refine to is less than 7 days ago. Problem is that someone could re-enroll and they could always qualify for the branch if they have clicked the link during a previous enrollment and not the current enrollment.     ...read more

Hello Community,   In Pardot it used to be possible to send people who opened/clicked a marketing email to a Salesforce Campaign on the completion actions. The only way to do this in HubSpot is to set up a workflow each time. Outlook (Office version) has recently started automatically justifying text for emails on desktop. BY DEFAULT. This causes words along the right margin to break, instead of moving them to the next line. However, there are improvements that would make it easier to draw conclusions and take action - most notably the ability to see health broken down separately for marketing emails, one-to-one emails sent through HubSpot and transactional emails. I contend that the logic used for the main open rate on marketing emails shown in HubSpot is flawed. If we're looking at only reliable opens (as the system does), we should be removing all those unreliable opens from the denominator too (which the system does not). If we don't count them in one part of the equation, we can't then count them in the other.
