Problem: There is currently no way to view the total count of contacts per "Issue" that occurs in a workflow.   Context: We use workflows to send marketing emails to our contact lists.   On a recent campaign, there were about 1400 contacts enrolled and only about 550 were sent the email.   It is currently not possible to quickly analyze which issue is causing the bulk of contacts to not receive the email.   Request: Can HubSpot please add the total count of contacts per 'Issue' in workflows?   I've attached a photo below showing an example of how it could look.   ...read more

Rather than having to send a survey email via SurveyMonkey with a HubSpot list export and then syncing that data to HubSpot, it would be amazing to be able to embed the SurveyMonkey survey in a HubSpot email directly with contact tracking. I'm surprised this isn't a feature of the integration already. HubSpot knows who is clicking the survey link, so we shouldn't have to add an email collection field to the SurveyMonkey survey. There is a feature a HubSpot competitor has that would be a useful addition to HubSpot for us as we start to grow the amount of content we create on a regular basis.   We currently have fixed workflows that provide a specific nurturing stream including specific emails sent at specific times relative to the workflow trigger. This provides us with a drip-email nurturing campaign that runs for a fixed period after that the trigger of someone being added as a contact. The emails within this campaign need to be reviewed regularly and the content sent manually kept fresh. We tend to have a workflow for a thread or topic of content based on properties like industry or persona. A better alternative for us would be to utilise the concept of content streams, which are effectively queues of emails with each queue collecting emails of a common topic. Alongside this, there could be a defined schedule that allows for each email to be processed from the queue and sent to the appropriate recipient at certain specific times. Similar to the "send more" feature, emails would not be re-sent to those who have already received it. Such a feature would allow us to create content for a specific purpose and extract greater value by easily re-using it by placing an email into such a queue as part of that content creation workflow. Rather than maintaining the if/else actions within a workflow that then gets quickly difficult, we would only need to focus on what content we have in each queue and rest assured knowing that those contacts who qualify would receive the series of nurturing emails delivered from the queue at a defined schedule. This provides a "longer burn" form of drip-email nurturing that would be easy to maintain, which could be continuously added to and refreshed. Beyond seriously needing a 'dark mode' editor within the email editor something needs to be done about how the Hubspot emails are currently being converted to dark mode in the gmail app clients (regardless of OS system). Our audience is around 70% gmail app users and we've been having major complaints from clients about this issue. Seems the only workaround currently is to make your email just images, no live text or CTAs which is generally bad practice. Very frustrating.  ...read more

We are a North American based company with every few European customers but we want to set us up for success when it comes to GDPR so that we would have consent to communicate from our clients already before the North American law makers catch up and require it. We are therefore using the communication subscriptions in our forms to collect this data for our marketing emails and newsletter. Currently we can only see the communication subscriptions on the contact record on the left hand side sidebar below the About this Contact section. We would like to also see the communication subscriptions from the Inbox. The contact information is shown in a sidebar on the right, there we would like to see the communication subscriptions as well so that it would be easy to update while we are emailing or chatting with our clients. It would also allow us to see if we should prompt our client to sign up for our newsletter if we could see that he/she is currently not subscribed. As Open Rate is becoming a less reliable metric for email engagement, additional/alternative metrics should be added to the e-mail marketing analytics we receive at the individual email level.   Additional metrics could be: Website Activity by contacts who were sent the email Form Captures from contacts who were sent the email Any other suggested method for tracking engagement that could be tracked by hubspot using the list of recipients of this email should be a metric we can see when reviewing our sent email. these metrics should have a 24hr, 72hr, 1 week view.    I have brought up this enhancement previously and was told these types of reports could be created using reporting tools and dashboards.  Beyond the convience of having this information in the email view, we use active lists for our email marketing, so any reporting we do after an email is sent will never be accurate to the contacts on that list at the time it was sent. As well the time frames we would want for this reporting would be based around the time a specifc email was sent. This now requires us to manually build or clone separate reports (and static lists) for each mailing manually, it would be more useful and realistic to have this automated as part of the HubSpot provided reporting specific to each email. ...read more

Would be great to access and use previously created automated emails when opting to add single form follow-up email to each page. Understand we can save automated emails as templates to be used when creating new email but using them interchangeably would be much easier. ...read more

Is anyone else having this issue? When I need to clone and edit a template while working in the email editor, the button says "Clone & edit new template", but it only clones and kicks you back out to Design tab to pulldown Actions and select Edit this template again. I normally jump to other browsers when I run into a glitch, but I didn't check the others, since I primarily work in Chrome, and it can be done, just not the way expected.   Can the function be fixed, so it pulls up the cloned template without the extra step, or at least change the button to say "Clone template", so it's understood that's all it's expected to do?   It's understood this isn't vital, but the all in one clone & edit worked in past versions of the tool, so the expectation is there.:) ...read more
