Recently, our team encountered a pain point while setting up a chatbot for a client. We configured the phone number property in the chatbot, and when we entered spam numbers (e.g., 12345) instead of actual phone numbers, the HubSpot chatbot accepted them and proceeded to the next action. The goal: to create a contact in HubSpot without capturing an email address.    Similar existing feature: HubSpot does give the ability to not require an email address when creating a HubSpot form. I'm imagining a similar feature to toggle on or off the requirement to have an email captured in a chatflow.    General use case: People are becoming more relcutant to give out email addresses due to getting SPAMMED/constantly marketed to. Having the ability to automatically create a contact with a first name/last name and even phone number (no email address) comes up a lot with law firms using hubspot. In some cases, a prospect will provide a phone number over email address (elder law) when reaching out.    More specific use case: I am using a chatflow to give a user an option to chat with or request a text from an agent. In the event they want to text, I don't need an email address (just a phone number). In this case I am integrating HubSpot into Podium to power the sms/mms fucntionality and need a contact to be created and a property updated to automate the integration into Podium.    Value added: Massive value add here to not being required to have an email, while understanding that this can create issues with de-duping and automations around that. I've created a sub domain to prevent chat from displaying on quotes as a workaround, but it would be better if downloaded quotes do not include the chat overlay.   We would like our web visitors to have the option to chat about their quote without that chat widget appearing in downloaded PDFs. ...read more

the scenario is - while a support agent is taking too long to reply to a customer while they find answers, I'd like to set up an automated reply to the conversation after 1- 2 minutes of not interaction - that says - "Thanks for your patience. When I do reports thinking about metrifying SLAs, we have a very long average response / closing time, given that when a chat is open on Saturdays, it is only closed on Monday. Hi, I would like to label my conversations. We deal with different products, sales processes, cs processes using Hubspot and HubSpot chatbot is live on many of our sites. I want to label the conversations based on the inputs provided and easily navigate later for reference like that of Gmail labels. Only open, close isn't helping as of now. THere are currently a lot of bots appearing which have integrations within CHatGPT to link to knowledge bases to make responses more personalised and flow easier. It would be great to have a inbuilt bot withint HubSPot which already is connected to chatgpt to allow a AI chatbot be built within HubSPot.
