I’m trying to build more efficient contact lists based on Marketing Event registration and attendance, specifically for our higher education marketing use case.   We run hundreds of Class Visit events each year, and I’d like to create a list of contacts who attended events of a particular event type (e.g., “Class Visit”) and that were hosted by a specific organizer (e.g., our Full-time MBA program team) within a recruitment cycle.   Currently, when building a list with the “Has completed: Attended marketing event” filter, I only see two filterable fields under “Refine by”: Event name Occurred at While helpful, these are not scalable for our needs. Manually entering each of the 200+ Class Visit event names would be time-intensive and prone to error.   Please consider adding the ability to filter by: eventType eventOrganizer These fields are already part of the Marketing Event object schema, so surfacing them in list filtering would allow for much more scalable and accurate segmentation.   List Creation and Refinement for Attended Marketing Events ...read more

I'd like to create a list of our contacts that have at least one additional email. I can't find a relevant field to use as a filter in creating a list of such contacts. Similarly, when creating a list of all contacts, I can't find a field to include in the list that will show a contact's additional email addresses, if any. It would be nice if "additional emails" was more usable in list creation.   Per this question/answer, I was able to export the list of all contacts and include the additional emails, so getting this data is possible without the List functions, but it is perhaps a bit inconvenient. ...read more

Since HS released the new Segments (Lists) UI in Sept 2025, I have found lists to be nearly unusable. The filters and overview sections take up so much room that I find it difficult to actually scroll through/view/interact with the list and its components. It would be great if filters and overview could be collapsible (and stay that way if I apply it to one list). ...read more

To my surprise it is not possible to send email to company-based lists.    We have an integration between CRM system Koho and HubSpot, and store a lot of business critical information about contracts and customers in Koho. The integration pushes data to HubSpot (custom fields) which has been selected as the agile tool for communication and marketing to our customers. Due to the company dependent information, I found out the hard way we are not able to use company-based lists to reach out to our customers.  I hope you would develop this feature very soon. Usability of HubSpot would be much better without exporting data to excel and then importing the same data back. It just doesn't make any sense.  The experience was totally unexpected not being able to send to a company-based list and it caused a lot of unnecessary trouble in a tight time schedule. Allow a new condition in lists/workflows that compares different properties. One example it can help with is to automatically find who is the primary contact for a company.   You could do it in a workflow like this: IF Contact Email is equal to Company Email  THEN set contact property Primary Contact to YES.   ...read more

For particular projects that are based on dynamic lists, we have a need to filter by particular owners. However, when the owner becomes deactivated - those records should be excluded from those lists. Unfortunately, for list filtering, there is no such option to exclude deactivated users, but it could be handy in various scenarios.   Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for? For administrators and operation teams   What is their goal? Build dynamic lists for various scenarios that help accomplish particular business need   What value will this add? Exclude irrelevant records from dynamic lists will bring value in the various scenarios: Excluding of deactivated users from list of prospects team will work on Excluding of deactivated users from regular enrichment processes Excluding of deactivated users from the specific owner based lists Etc   Are there examples of other places or products who have this feature? Advanced filters on any HubSpot records allow showing deactivated users among other record owner. Hubspot has a data point for "Date Added to List", which allows you to see the exact date a contact was added to an active list. However, this data is not available to filter or report on. Currently you can only export this data from the list view, by adding "Added to List Date" as a column, export, then filter in excel., which really limits automation needed. Seeing as this data point exists, I do not see why I am unable filter or report on it. ...read more

We need to create active and static lead lists.    The "lead" object is very usefull but depleted without this simple but essential functionality   There is no reason to treat "leads" as minor objects by relegating them to limited possibilities. ...read more
