Working on an integration between our PHP based API and the HubSpot API, I have found two different PHP clients that are both apparently actively maintained: https://github.com/HubSpot/hubspot-php https://github.com/HubSpot/hubspot-api-php   Strangely, the PHP examples in the HubSpot API endpoint documentation: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/contacts apparently use neither of these clients, but rather direct requests using CURL.   My suggestion is to have clear directions which client to use, and offer appropriate examples in the endpoint documentation.   Us PHP developers have it hard enough as it is 😉 ...read more

Hey Team. We are using a blog to serve private content to a group of clients - like a membership with tools. We would like to give access to some blog posts, for certain members and all access to premium members.  The problem is that access control is limited to either all the blog or non. Our idea is that we would have more granular control over private access in the blog tool. Both at a blog lever or at a post level.  This way we can offer access to the whole blog to premium members and restrict access for members on another plan.  Does that make sense?  I am sure this use case would help many, and there are many ways to use it if the access was more granular. I've noticed the multilanguage selection in KB menu is based on country.   We're an agency who serves several international company across globally and its headquarter is in Taiwan. I've been receiving feedbacks behalf of our clients that it's quite sensitive to have it categorize Chinese as Chinese - China and Chinese -Hongkong.   Most of their cases were to provide Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese documentation for their users, but then currently they're only limited to select these thru country/region.   I would like to propose into just shortening these and rename it to "Simplified Chinese" and "Traditional Chinese" instead.   There were many races across the world who understand Chinese Mandarin and it's really a bad idea to use "places" to categorize these.   Hongkong isn't the only place that uses Traditional Chinese.   We have several clients onboarding having this issue and been very unhappy regarding this. There's no difference either Taiwan or Hongkong in using Traditional Chinese characters or wordings.   Are there any chance for us to give this feedback to the product team? I'm not sure if this is a feature or it haven't been fully implemented yet. But it's definitely a stepbackward to our prospects who wants to move from Zendesk to HubSpot KB because of this multilanguage with region selection issue in menu.    Alternatively, maybe proposing another way for us to modify the text on menu so users won't be offended to this? It's a shame that Hubspot still don't offer support for Ukrainian in CMS, particularly in Knowledge base. Ukraine is a country of 42 million people in Europe and addtional 10 milllion Ukrainians over the world. Hubspot offers languages from much smaller countries https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/hubspot-language-offerings like Czech or Danish.  Yes, Ukrainians can understand Russian, but it's not how it works with client support.  Furthermore, there is no need to invest from Hubspot, since the translations could be done by Hubspot users.  We could simply put Ukrainian articles into English (like we currently do in Freshdesk), but it's not the best UX, especially not the one expected from Hubspot. What we need is that our customers could select Ukrainian from a dropdown in Knowledge base. ...read more
