We have a frequent problem with leads syncing from HubSpot to Salesforce but linking to the wrong record type. We have a massive amount of old contact records and when a "new" lead comes in and syncs with an old contact record it prevents this lead from being able to be assigned to a queue - as salesforce contact records must have a user for the owner.  It would be great if HubSpot could record what type of salesforce record it syncs to so that if it did sync a "new" lead to an existing salesforce contact we could be notified to manually create the new lead record.  ...read more

The new Google Plugin view does not display the logged record titles in a toolbar across the top of the email, instead, you have to click (Logged to: (x) Records) to see a dropdown. I preferred the old view and would love the option to choose. ...read more

I've been pretty shocked to discover that within the ConectWise PSA integration built by HubSpot (ConnectWise PSA HubSpot Integration | Connect Them Today) there is no way to sync a Contacts' telephone number between the systems. Hi,    I would like to request that the ability to be notified of sync or integration failures be added to the airtable integration. Currently there is no way for users to be notified that: 1. The integration failed to run i.e. the access token has expired 2. Once a sync has been established in the Connectwise to HubSpot integration, if it was made in error, there is no way to break the existing link and once it have been established you can not reconnect the company in ConnectWise to any other record in HubSpot and vice versa.  It would be great to have a "Break Sync" thatwould clear ANY sync records in the integration.  Here is where I would put it.   ...read more

HubSpot NEEDS to integrate / synchronize CONTACT NOTES with Microsoft Outlook and Google/Gmail contacts. *** This should be a no-brainer, simple and out of the box feature in for a modern CRM in 2023.    > > > PLEASE UPVOTE THIS < < <   FYI, I am not using Google currently but, I assume the issue is the same and I say that because, Google uses one “catch-all” contact general notes section, just like Microsoft does for Outlook contacts.   My suggestion, then, would be for HubSpot to have one pinned note or one “catch-all” master note that would sync changes between Outlook or Google contacts.    With one single catch-all / master note section, there would be one single place to document important information about your prospects like, their hobbies, where they went to school, or even where you met them, like at a networking event.  Having this information in one visible place that can be updated and viewed, on the fly, whether you are in Outlook or HubSpot, is critical in building relationships with prospects.    Moreover, looking at one master note is a whole lot easier than dumpster diving through past CRM notes and activities of past sales reps who logged dozens of “Left Voicemail” and sent dozens of Cold Emails that never got returned.  There is nothing actionable from that data other than that the previous rep failed and got frustrated “dialing for dollars” and being micromanaged to log every single activity.   History   Hubspot Sales & Support originally informed me I could do this with the Outlook Contacts by HubSpot APP but, after installing that APP, I discovered it does not synch contact notes.  It does work well for other contact data.   The HubSpot Website directs to inquire about custom mappings, like Notes, and then prompts you to install Operations Hub ® Starter in order to be able to sync Contact Notes to HubSpot.  Likewise, calling HubSpot Sales & Support, they also directed me to Operations Hub so, I installed it only to discover that does not work, either.    The reason, because HubSpot does not have a standard mapping for NOTES with Microsoft Outlook (and Google, I assume). There is some contact field called Membership Notes but, from my research, that is a field that manages preferences for subscriptions for Marketing Emails, Blogs, etc.  Moreover, it is not the standard notes in HubSpot.   No map for contact synchronization       ...read more

It would be a nice add on to allow the source of truth.  Here is an example.  Right now the source of truth is set for BOTH directions, however it would be a great add on to allow the source of truth to be dependent upon the type of customer.   If the data is being pushed either way ConnectWise to HubSpot or then - if type = client, then CW = source of truth - if type = prospect, then HS = source of truth ...read more
