The April '22 rollout of association labels was great and we all love the new super useful labels! However there was an unintended side effect that some of us that work a lot with imports and data management have noticed.  Whereas before if you imported contacts (multi-object import) and included a Company ID column - the contact would simply associate to that company as the Primary company (it would replace any existing association) via the import process... Now however, if the contact is already associated to a different Primary Company in HS then it doesn't replace this association. You end up with 2 companies associated to the contact.  It adds a new company association leaving the previous association in place. This can cause a lot of mess and confusion - particularly in larger databases. Whilst you can change the label to Primary for the new company via the import by including an association label column you cannot remove the old association. This used to be such a simple process via native imports. Example scenario: - you have a list of contacts who have left their company - you research their new company details - via an import you create the new company and you associate the existing contact to their new company (or you associate the contact to the new company if it already exists in HubSpot) Before Labels rollout - you would have contact associated to their new company and old company removed ✅ After Labels rollout - you now have the contact associated to 2 companies 😫 HubSpot tech support have advised that solutions are possible by using 3rd party tools like Associ8 or Import2 or by custom API work - however to my mind this should not require additional expense or 3rd party tools. This should be part of our HubSpot package - after all we are not asking for new functionality - we are asking for functionality that used to exist but has now been lost. The need to download and analyze data from Sequences, I can export everywhere else on the website except for Sequences.    I can cobble something together using the 'Sales Contact Analytics' tool and filtering 'Contact' data but downloading from the specific sequence page and getting data like Open Rates and what step is the contact in the sequence.    This idea has been kicking around since 2018: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/APIs-Integrations/Sequences-Data-Export/m-p/248477 ...read more

Currently there is no way as a HubSpot client, or by HubSpot themselves (via Support) to do a user export which includes the two filters that are on the User & Teams settings screen: Permission Set & Status. These two fields are there as filters in settings, because they are the most useful filters to have, so it equally makes sense that they'd be needed for export too. Super Admins should be able to export this list with these two extra columns in it. The current available data for user export includes: User ID First name Last name Email address Last login date Assigned teams Assigned role Permissions My use case, is I want to take the full list of users and conduct an audit of them, going out to teams to clarify who does/doesn't need access and what level of access everyone needs - I'll also do some general clean up with first/last names, and team & role updates. These two fields I'm requesting would make the former task far eaiser, but can't be exported. So, I'll have to manually note down hundreds of times from HubSpot to excel to record it. To pre-empt the suggestion I could use Permissions, the Permissions (not Permission Set) is a very long string of permissions text and not user friendly to work with teams to determine permissions. Hi everyone,   I have the following problem:   I receive excel files with company records which I need to import to HubSpot with the only goal of updating their records (for example because the companies have been participating in an event, therefore I would like to ‘tag’ that in HubSpot.   We already have those company records in HubSpot. The problem however is that some companies have one headquarters and 3 local offices, which means that we already have 4 company records with the same domain address. Therefore, when I import a file, I cannot update the company I would like (in my case headquarters) because HubSpot uses 2 unique identifiers: ‘domain name’ & ‘record id’. So, since I cannot use the domain name the 2nd possibility is ‘record id’.  But to get the ‘record id’ I need to search for each company in HubSpot, and place that information in the excel sheet to import, so with the same success, I can add the tags manually. However, when you have more than 500 companies to update, it takes a lot of time to go through all of them.   Therefore I am asking, if it would be possible to either have a 3rd unique identifier for Headquarter / Local Office or even better (if possible) companies to have the right to choose their perfect 3 unique identifier which will allow them to use that property for imports as well as for integration purposes.   Thank you and have a great day! 🙂      ...read more

Would like the option to import a single object list with the option to just add any new records in the list, while kicking out records where email matches an existing record.   We have several family members in our membership who share an email address (specifically minors and spouses) that I wouldn't want their data to be overwritten with another family members information.   Having the matching emails kick out would give us a way to know which members we need to contact to obtain unique emails for.   Thanks in advance!   ...read more

Bonjour,    J'ai eu un soucis avec un workflow , une erreur de paraméttrage et je me suis rendu compte que vous ne proposer pas d'annuler l'action faite par un workflow ce qui est quand même dommage dans la mesure où l'erreur est possible.    Par ailleurs si il n'est pas possible de créer la fonction de annulation du workflow est ce possible de nous permettre de faire des exports / import d'historique par rapport à une date ? Parce que par rapport à ses erreurs j'avais 200 lignes de transaction prises dans l'erreur du workflow à reprendre à la main.    ...read more

When we export the close dates on deals in a workflow that update a googlesheet with a new row everytime it is a new or a changed deal, the close date is just in milliseconds. I now we can use a formula to get the rigt date.. But we use til workflow to Googlesheet in an integration with an other system that automaticly pick up the new row an create og edit an item in the other system.. and the formula doesn't work in this sheet, and the other system doesn't understand milliseconds.   I really like to export dates in a normal shape and not milliseconds.
