Who Does It Benefit HubSpot, Marketers, Users, and Developers   Value To Be Gained Users would be able to easily submit bug reports as well as view bug reports others have submitted to identify if what they're experiencing is likely actually a bug or not.   Description I feel like there should definitely be a Bug Reports Community category or a #bug-reports Slack channel (or preferably both, like with Ideas). Currently, I've experienced numerous bugs, over the last several months, and I don't really have any outlet to post them to. Currently, I try to find the most relevant channel in Slack and post them there, but it doesn't feel good at all.   I mentioned this to Jon McLaren, and he told me messaging support would be the best solution for bug reports, but it seems really inconvenient to do, and other users can't benefit from it, to help identify their issues as bugs, and view possible solutions whether it's a bug or not (if there's been an issue posted by someone else). Being able to post your bug reports to a dedicated community section would just be better for everyone, I feel: HubSpot would gain more awareness and a measure of the urgency of the bug based on community response Marketers and users would have an outlet to more easily report any issues they're experiencing as well as see if the issue has been experienced by others and possible solutions or bandaid fixes for the issue (and maybe a response in the thread from an official HubSpot staff member that the issue has now been resolved) Developers would be more aware of things that are actually bugs rather than waste hours identifying it as such (which I have done on more than 1 occasion recently, although I probably still would have needed to as they were so niche it is likely no one else would have already reported them) and they could potentially pass that info on to a client. When posting a "comment" on an inbox message, I can tap enter to post the comment. Yay! Easy. No mouse needed.   However, when I'm in "Email" mode tapping enter adds a new line. It doesn't appear there's any way to send the email without using my mouse, which **bleep**, because it slows me down. Can you please add a shortcut to send the message, like Cmd + Enter (that's what Twitter and other sites use).   It's driving me crazy. I really like your new Payments portal but it would be great if we could have a bit more customization with payment links.  I'd like to be able to go in and adjust billing dates for these. I often bill a customer mid month (January) but the payment is for the next month (February). Would be very beneficial to to in and adjust that billing date (or add a specific number of 'free or trial' days) so it would bill on the 1st of the correct month for the additional bills (March, April etc).  We cuurenlty use Strip for Kajabi and Stripe allows us to add a "Trial" so it won't automatically run the next payment 30 days later (mid month).  ...read more

Dear Hubspot Team,   We are using the helpdesk tool but we are facing a problem when we want to measure the opening-closing time of a ticket. This is because we only have 2 status (Open and Closed). Most of the helpdesk platforms have at least one more status for those tickets that are on hold for an answer of others departmens.   We would like to have another status because if we keep a ticket open and the solution of this ticket does not deppend on the departmen that has the ticket, we won´t be able to measure the resolution time properly.   Best regards ...read more

New to Hubspot It would be handy to be able to also sync contacts groups automatically between clients & hubspot & vice-versa. (E.G. icloud to hubspot then from hubspot to Google Contacts).   The contacts sync is great and handy, but the missing of those is a bit of a pain.   Thanks again ...read more

Let me start by saying that I understand the value of onboarding and its use in not only using the tools properly, but aligning the Hubspot tools to each (very unique) organization.   (and—let's not kid ourselves—the revenue side of things)   With that out of the way, I have to say that as someone with a lot of Hubspot experience, I find myself struggling to find the value in the onboarding meetings—which, to be clear—isn't the onboarder's fault.   Before we upgraded, we went back & forth internally between which hubs were right for us, built out a process for how everything would work, ran through multiple dry-runs, and got buy-in from our team.   I find nearly zero value in the onboarding meetings themselves, but they're not for me—they're for the other non-Hubspot-evangelists within the org.   In some of our meetings, I would find myself saying "Hubspot guy, I'll handle that with John offline" very often because 15 minute over-the-shoulder training is way easier than a brief demo and a point in the right direction.   Even worse is the navel-gazing & silent glances around the room when HS Onboarding asks what else we need help on...you can feel the obligation to extract value out of the onboarding fee in the room.   I would love an option to waive or discount the onboarding fee based on being certified within whatever hubs Hubspot deem necessary. I need to create a workflow based on the deal stage ( booked events only), where based on the property "event date" on the deal, an email will be sent to the client 3 weeks before the actual event date.
