Filter and Sort options are desperately needed in the 'Attachments' section.   As companies using HubSpot are growing, we need this to be able to find specific attachments we've added over time.      If this is not an important feature add, then it seems like HubSpot just wants to cater to smaller companies.  We need the functionality to scale and grow with us.   Please add filtering and sorting to the attachments section. ...read more

These features would be helpful to web developers, Hubspot admins, and social media coordinators:   Disallow uploading of files to the root directory. Ability to assign pre-determined upload folders for specific roles.For example: Social media coordinators could only upload images to the social media folder. Web developers could only upload files to the website folder. Images used in social posts (posted through Hubspot) should not show not used anywhere. They should show which social post or at least they were used in social post. This would help in removing files that are actually not used anywhere. Ability to specify alt-text for images in file manager. This property would get carried over when the image is used in an email or web page. Ability to change columns used in file manager view - much like you can do for contacts and companies. Display items such as: file resolution/dimensions uploaded by number of times used Ability to export this information to a spreadsheet. ...read more

Hi,  Posting this here for a customer: They have tried to upload a zip file to file manager, however the file manager tool seems to not allow the file to retain its folder structure, and uploading zip files does not allow the customer to unzip the file to open a folder in file manager.  As such, this makes it quite cumbersome for them to have to manually create folders and subsequently upload the files into the folder.  The current method based on this KB article:https://knowledge.hubspot.com/files/upload-files-to-use-in-your-hubspot-content, looks to be manual where the folder has to be created and subsequently the files have to be ticked and sorted into the folder. It would be more helpful for the folder to be directly uploaded into file manager so the steps above can be shortened. Thanks! ...read more

Hi there,   we're facing the following challenge: We're using business units to manage our two brands in HubSpot. From external it should not be guessable that those two brands belong to the same company.   So hosting files in the file manager is a problem for us because you can only select one domain for the entire HubSpot account.   We don't want to use the HubSpot default domain:   And not either can we use one of the two brand domains that are connect with HubSpot because with that the files from brand B will be stored in the domain of brand A.   We're aware of the option to change the domain for single files. But this is not practicle for us.     What we need: We need the option to separte the file manager when using business units. We need to be able to select different domains for the storage for each business unit and therefore the option to select the desired file manager domain when uploading data into the file manager.   Let me know what you - the community and the HubSpot product team - think about this.   Cheers, Laura   ...read more

To help clean up documents in both the Document Library and File Manager, it would be nice to be able to export a directory of the file folders and file names for the File Manager and Document Library? There needs to be a way to globally disable Hubspot's image compression. Now that most people look at emails on a mobile device, it is important to have large images for retina. So compressing everything until they are blurry is unacceptable. Emails are also more image heavy so adding "?noresize" to every single image is extremely tedious. ...read more
