We create Companies but cannot update them on a Deal. To capture the company name we have to create a custom property. This custom property cannot be linked to the company database. Thus people can type anything they want in it.   To avoid it we could create custom field with multiple value selection and then maintain all the company names and also update these values regularly. Completely **bleep**!!!   Hubspot could simply proivde the Company Name field on the Deal information which is connected to the Company database. It would solve a lot of headache. ...read more

It would be great if we could get an object that is similar to "Deal" and "Ticket", but with a delivery focus instead of a sales or support ticket. For instance, you could have a deal where you have sold a package containg ten courses / events / products etc. Instead of merely registering these as line items, you could register these as associated "Delivery" obejcts, which would allow you to register contacts, activities etc. for each individual delivery. That way, you could register the people you were in contact with during the sales process on the deal record, and the participants for each separate event on the separate "Delivery" objects. P.S.: I realise that we can build this ourselves with the custom objects functionality, but I think this is something that could be useful for a significant amount of users. ...read more

Currently, when 2 or more records are merged, all the original records remain in general portal-wide searches. All the records other than the primary are blank and don't serve any purpose, and luckily don't show up in record -specific list searches, however this still causes confusion when our users need to look something up and want to use the general search bar. General search results In this example, 3 duplicates of a custom Distriburtor object record "Big Blue Air Limited" have been merged. When searching, all 3 come up, however only the bottom left result is the primary record. The top 2 results look like this: Unfortunately, we can't delete these blank records as that results in all 3 being deleted. Ideally, when records are merged there should be no searchable trace of the old records that were being de-duplicated. The duplicates don't show up in object list searches (as seen below), however it would be beneficial to all users to be able to effectively use the general search to quickly find the records they need. The feature is essential for companies which make use of different client segments.   The goal is to make sure that whenever you delete a segment you have created in a customized property, that you will be notified to see in which client accounts the segment will be deleted and if you want to change the segment choice for the specific clients.    The value it adds: you will not lose any information of your clients and as they will be segmented to another segment if one segment is deleted; it can still be possible to make sure the marketingtools and salestools can be done correctly.    Examples with bars: If you want to make it more simple for example, like a customized property with restaurant only and want to delete the segment bar. Furthermore, if i delete this segment than all of the clients that were a 'bar' are not linked to a segment anymore. So why can I not get notified like, do you want to add the clients, who were segmented in a bar first, place them in the restaurant category after deleting the segment bar.    Example with restaurants in short: If I want to adjust client segments and I want to delete the segment; restaurant (gastronomic). Than I want all the clients that are categorized with this segment to pop-up to make sure that they will still be categorized, only in a different segment. Somehow right now. Nothing pops-up when I delete a segment, so i won't get notified which client will not be segmented anymore after I delete a segment   I hope this is clear enough for everyone. I would like to have an option to add a field of "status", so that when I am in a company record, and on the right hand side are the contacts, i would be able to see under the contact: name, email, phone, company, and STATUS (as a drop down or fill in), because I have contacts that leave all of the time and I still want them visible but want to mark them as inactive so I know they worked at the facility and I can reference them during a phone call. ...read more
