I am concerned that when ideas are posted multiple times, the upvotes across all of the simular ideas are diluted and thus potentially ignored or overlooked by HS as not being popular enough. I know, I know -- a valid reponse from HubSpot's perspective might be that people should search old ideas and upvote that, instead of posting a new one. But it's not uncommon to see a new idea posted with some variation of "I know this has been asked for before, but I'm asking it again so HubSpot sees it" -- and the fact that users feel that kind of machination is necessary should tell HS a lot about this shortcoming in the way the Ideas work. I don't know what the fix is -- I will leave that for the UX and dev teams to sort out. But it would be nice if there was a mechanism other than just searching old ideas, or else, if HS does account for this already, it would be nice just to hear from them about how that process works behind the curtain. (If you're not already, you could use your LLM for something like grouping together ideas that are conceptually the same so you'd have a holistic view of ideas. As a developer, having access to both private betas at times, as well as public betas a prod accounts have access to would be vary valuable in staying ahead of changes and allow us to plan, build and ship solutions more effectively. There multiple threads in the developer community that end in the roadlock of betas only being available in prod accounts, often of Enterprise tier. This is fine for enabling in betas in prod accounts, but Developer Test Accounts should be included in the restricted tiers for Beta Access.  We want to build for the future.  ...read more

Hello,   I do quite a bit of research for my company and it would be great to have a a better place to save news articles associated with a specific contact or company. I usually copy/paste the link of the article in the "Notes" tab of the company, but it would be even more helpful if their was a "News" tab that maybe gives a preview of the article or headline and can show up in the wider company activity feed.   This would be extremely helpful for building a unified knowledge base on current events with our contacts.    Thank you. -JQ ...read more

The goal is to have an automated Zip file creator, which allows my visitors to download multiple files at once. These files are sorted by a HubDB table.   Details: My products have a wealth of informational documents associated with them. Spec sheets, user guides, 3d step files, viewer software. etc. When a visitor wants a user guide, we ask for name/email. Next visit if he/she wants a different file, we then ask for job title. HubSpot progressive fields at work. All good! But...   In addition to this, what if we add a button to rule (download) them all?   The visitor fills out a long form and gives the 6 qualifiers my Sales team wants. First name/last name/email/job title/phone/country but in return, they get the entire suite of files associated to the product.   Sometimes the same file is used for multiple products, so a manually created zip file will not do. When one of these files is updated, ALL copies need to be updated as well. To counter this, we can pull the file names from a HubDB table and package them into a zip folder on demand.   No more updating the same file in multiple places and the visitor has all the information they need to help them in their buyer's journey. ...read more

It would be fantastic to be able to create forms for niche uses that did not map back to contact properties.   One use case: You're doing a special contest or collaboration with a partner where you're  collecting information to offer a product/ service/ or contest that is not part of your core product.    Right now to do this, all of these custom/ niche fields must be created as contacts and map back to contact properties. ...read more

Hello. I am trying to create slack alerts to our sales team to indicate when a specific type of prospect views a specific page like a blog or resource. I noticed in slack alerts we cannot choose any web analytics or interaction data in the slack alerts.    I was going to create a work around to copy web analytics most recent page view url onto a contact property but I also see we cannot copy property data from web analytics onto contact fields. Just an idea from an admin's point of view...   What if it was possible to score a user based on how clean their assigned data is.   For example: The goal is 100% but their score reduces for overdue tasks, overdue deals, duplicate contacts or companies assigned to them, etc.   There would need to be a place that points them to the specific issues to make it super easy to fix all the issues in one place.  Businesses could then set reasonable KPIs around their expectations and data maintenance would be made super simple. ...read more
