Dear Community & Support,   As a new user, I have to admit how put off I am by the lack of organizational options in HubSpot.    Campaigns: For starters, there is not a way to organize overall campaigns. I find that HubSpot defines Campaigns too specifically. If I wanted to track overall SMM, then break it down into Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, then year, then "campaign" why shouldn't I be able to? CTAs: My company has over 120 documents in our library and I know that is more than most but to need to create a single CTA for every single one and then NOT be able to organize them into a folder specifically for the library is crushing. Emails: Finally! Folders! ... Just kidding, you can't create subfolders so the template folder you wanted for all your tradeshows, events and conferences needs to be its own folder outside of the tradeshow folder.   I could keep going but I think my point is clear. I would love the ability to archive a campaign. I want to keep the information associated with it, but I want to keep a clean view of currently running campaigns or only be able to associate assets with current campaigns.  ...read more

When you connect FB ad account to Hubspot you are not able to apply specific FB campaign/ad to Hubspot campaign. Please add an option to connect an Ad to HubSpot campaign, just like it is with all the other assets (forms, CTAs, LP, SM posts...)   If you don't have an option to tag Ad as an asset to HubSpot campaign you don't have a full picture of a campaign, because you're not able to measure the effectiveness of all the sources. ...read more

I would like to see a way to associate sales activity (like a logged call/email/meeting) with a marketing campaign. It would be ideal if there was a drop-down with all the marketing campaigns in the sales activity boxes (log call), the same way you can add a campaign for any marketing activity.  We have someone on our team who is dedicated to outbound sales/marketing and this association would be helpful for our reporting and tracking as he contributes to many of our marketing campaigns with "sales activities" like calling and one-to-one emails.  ...read more

According to the support team, the Influenced Revenue in Campaign Analtyics is "an imperfect metric at the moment because we include all deals associated with these contacts."   This means that "any deal that is associated with any influenced contact is brought into [the] influenced revenue figure, regardless of when the deal was closed."   We need the ability to have influenced revenue look at deals that were Created and Closed AFTER the campaign was created and Created BEFORE the campaign was created but Closed AFTER the campaign was created.   An added layer of complexity is the report date range filters. I think we need to have the report dates impact how the revenue looks. For example, if I filter to see contacts influenced by a campain within the last 90 days, we shouldn't see deals that closed in a windo prior to that 90 days.   Here's the best way I can illustrate this: Campaign Influence Report to view "Contacts influenced for the past 90 days" Inbound 18 Campaign, Created 1/1/18 Inbound 17 Camapaign, Created 1/1/17 Today's date: 8/08/18 Look back range: 8/06/18 to 5/08/18   Let's say there are two deals associated to one contact: Contact Name: Bobby A Smith Deal 1 Created 12/10/17 Deal 1 Closed 1/15/18 Deal 1 Amount: $5,000 Campaign(s) Associated: "Inbound 17 Campaign" and "Inbound 18 Campaign"   Deal 2 Created 1/10/18 Deal 2 Closed 5/10/18 Deal 2 Amount: $1,000 Campaign(s) Associated: "Inbound 18 Campaign"     My proposal is that deals could appear as influenced in two ways. Deals created after the campaign was created and have closed within the dates that you are filtering in the influence report AND contacts were influenced by the campaign. Deals created before the campaign was created but closed after the campaign was created AND a contact was influenced by the campaign. In the above example, Deal 1 would appear against rule 1.  Based on Rule 1 (above), the results for the "Inbound 18 Campaign" should be $1,000 of influenced revenue based on the create date of the deal. This is because the deal was created after the campaign was created and closed after it was created.   In the above example, Deal 1 and 2 would appear against rule 2. Based on Rule 2 (above), the results for the "Inbound 18 Campaign" should be $6,000 of influenced revenue based on the close date of the deal. This is because the deal was created before the campaign was created and closed after it was created.   I think the data would need to appear in two different columns: Influenced Revenue: Created and Closed Influenced Revenue: Closed   The columns would have tool tips to explain how these columns are calculated.   Taking it to another level, interesting and perhaps useful data would be: Influenced Revenue: Created Deals  This would be all deals created within that lookup window and associated to that campaign   I think the default behavior should be that all deals should not be included in "Influenced Revenue" unless the deal was created after the campaign was created.   These other metrics I'm proposing should be additional and optional to add to your columns in the report. ...read more

Currently, only tracking URLs that are bucketing visits under 'Paid Search' or 'Other Campaigns' in the Sources Report will appear in the Campaigns tool, but the Tracking URLs that are categorized as 'Email Marketing', 'Paid Social', or 'Social Media' will not appear in the Campaigns tool. My suggestion is that when a tracking URL is associated with a campaign, it should also be appeared under the campaign tool. HubSpot should consider to improve the "Campaign" functionality and make it more useful. ...read more

Hi!    It would be very helpful to have the ability to filter and set workflow triggers for Salesforce Campaign Statuses. Currently, we can filter lists by Salesforce Campaign and we can use it as a trigger for workflows, but we cannot take it a step farther by creating lists or triggering workflows based on the status of that campaign (such as "responded" or "sent").    The only option available is to set a Salesforce Campaign with a status in a workflow, but that doesn't help with the use case above.  ...read more

In "Marketing --> Planning and Strategy --> Campaigns" we create campaigns and then we are able to add assets like landing pages or static list to it and this is great. We can also add budget and campaign goal and this is great too.    My problem is that I want to see the ROI for my online and offline campaigns. When I run a TV ad, I redirect people to a separate URL / landing page so that I capture all the traffic and leads that flow through this channel. I add the landing page as an asset to my campaign so that all the contacts acquired by it belong to this campaign.    But there is no place within the campaign where I can record my actual marketing spending and this is necessary to calculate ROI in reports. It would be great to have the possibility to record my actual ad spending for this campaign so that having ROI calculated I know if I still should be spending money on TV ads or not.   Ads spendings for online sources like Google or Facebook are recorder automatically and the ROI for these channels can be calculated with no problem. The same should be available for all the other marketing channels that are not integrated with HubSpot. I don't know if this should be at the campaign level because it can be mixed with the cost generated by its assets but maybe adding a new asset type ("advertising") and making it available to link with the campaign would be a good idea.    It should be possible to assign costs for this new asset type and the costs should be considered when calculating ROI for this campaign. It should be possible to record "advertising" costs in a one-to-many relation for this asset type and within a certain date range i.e.: when I pay for TV ads on a monthly basis I put my advertising costs month-by-month.    This would also allow me to measure the ROI on Facebook posts. When I hire a marketing agency to manage my Facebook and I pay them $5k / month, I can clearly see what is my ROI for this channel.   I think this would help a lot of people to save money on channels that are not performing as expected. Hi all,   The idea: To be able to bulk upload/import UTM tracking URLs (and potentially have a template sheet, like with contact/company imports)   Who for: This is for those who work in big portals, using URLs across many sources/mediums and making use of many keywords/ads/content in order to track where contacts are coming from better/easier.   Value: To make creating many URLs faster and easier, rather than creating a URL one at a time.   I just had a chat with the HubSpot support team and they specifically said that in order for HubSpot to track where a contact has come from - the URL has to exist the URL Tracking Builder tool. Doing this one at a time seems very laborious when working in several portals who work with global teams and across many different online channels.   Please can you create a bulk-upload option for URL tracking?   Thanks, Maret ...read more
