We've read that customers find it easier to interact with one field for name, rather than two (First Name, Last Name).  Conversions are more likely with one name field, rather than two, seperate fields for First and Last Name.   I'd like Hubspot Forms to separate First/Last Name from one Name Field. In other words, if a customer fills in their First and Last Name with one Form Field, Hubspot should separate the First and Last Names when creating a contact.   This will help all Hubspot customers convert site visitors at a higher rate. When embedding a form on an externally hosted website it is cumbersome to ad form styling to the form. The options that currently exist are really only functional for an experienced developer.    What we would like to see is a custom code section added to the form element. Similar to what currently exists in the CTA section. This would give a developer the ability to custom style a form that is to be embedded on an external site a certain way and then a marketing person building the landing page would be able to insert the form on the landing page.    This is useful for some custom web builders that are used by franchises that don't allow for custom coding to be added to different sections of the page. At the moment the only way to have CTA click data in a dashboard is by using custom events. However this is not helpful since it does not give historic data and also it does not give you summary rows for the data. ...read more

hi all posting on behalf of my customer:    they are looking for a way to be able to set time-based rules for their CTA to show, specifically they have a "Call Us" CTA and they not want it to show on weekends when no one is able to mend their phone line.    At the moment, we are able to utilise smart content for our CTAs but we do not have a way to detect the contact's device time/day of the week to be able to not show them certain content. I recently saw a pop-up feature on Docutech's Blog: 13 Things to Start, Stop & Keep Doing With Your Email Marketing in 2018. The Pop-Up did not require a form but rather re-directed to a landing page. I would love to have this as a feature in HubSpot either as a CTA Option or via the Lead Flows Tool. It would allow marketing to quickly notify visitors of new content while also asking more detailed questions for lead routing purposes.  ...read more

We've run into situations a few times now with clients where a CTA they have is no longer applicable. Most recently, a client had to remove an offer they have on their website, which had an accompaying CTA on 35 different blog posts. HubSpot said I would have to manually replace the CTA on all of those blog posts, or I suppose I could update the actual CTA to point to something different, but it would be nice to keep the old CTA for reporting/analytics purposes.   Instead, it would be incredibly helpful if there was an option to bulk replace the CTA that lives on those 35 blog posts with an already existing CTA.  ...read more

Calls-to-Actions (CTAs) in HubSpot seem like a great feature until you realize that you can't actually report on revenue specific to them. Revenue is a major component when analyzing the performance/success of anything, but especially if you want to test one CTA vs. another. Even trying to come up with a custom report based on a CTA misses the mark from a revenue standpoint. For multilingual website visitors, Hubspot smart CTAs and smart forms can show content based on browser language; however, the Hubspot language options fail to respect a person's wishes if the person uses common language switching options that sites often provide.   For example, a website might have a link or other element that enables a visitors to switch between different languages on the site. These language switchers often rely on cookies or URLs to control language, and the current Hubspot smart rules fail to respect the user's wishes if the users tries to change their language using one of these URL or cookie-based methods.   For example, if Emilia's browser language is set to Spanish, and she visits a URL that shows content in English, smart CTAs and forms will still appear in Spanish if we've used Hubspot's language rules.   This violates Emilia's wishes and provides her with an inconsistent, somewhat unprofessional website experience. This may limit our ability to help Emilia, and it may hurt our conversion rate.   If the smart rules were able to check for particular URLs or cookies, and display content based on that, then we could provide Emilia with the Hubspot content that she wants to see, and we could potentially improve our conversion rate. ...read more

Instead of having to select each CTA individually when you create a workflow, list, or score, we'd have the option to select "clicked any CTA".   Use case: adding a score set of +20 when a contact has clicked on any CTA within the last 2 weeks. ...read more
