PLEASE give us the option to re-send blog notification emails for updated/republished posts. We've been blogging for over 8 years, so much of our content strategy is updating and re-publishing (in many cases this is a significant rewrite) of existing articles. Currently the automated Blog Subscriber Notification Emails and social notifications won't consistently go out for these updated articles, even if we Unpublish the article, make changes, and reschedule for a future publish date. HubSpot support has told multiple members of our agency team that these notifications won't go out since the post was previously published. However, we've found that not to be true (they go out sometimes; sometimes not), which further complicates the issue. We have to wait 15 min after every blog we publish to see if the notification goes out and manually schedule an email and social posts if it didn't. This is SUPER frustrating. Please just give us an option when we hit publish that's a Yes/No to "Do you want to resend notification email and social notifications?" The current inconsistencies introduce SO MUCH RISK for us and our clients to look bad and miss out on lead conversions.

I would love the ability to bulk add, edit, or remove tags from blogs. Especially helpful during blog redesigns or restructuring your blog to be more search-friendly. Currently, you have to individually go into every post to edit a tag.

Adding the ability to make a flexible column within a Blog template and not just a Website Page or Landing Page would be useful. I am trying to allow editing and creating Blogs and pages to be more accessable for non developers. I have created Custom Modules that correlate with particular pages. We use the Flexible Columns on our other Pages so anyone can add which module needs to be added, even the pre populated Custom Module. We want to be able to do this on our Blogs for a CTA featured area instead of having to create it every time.

It would be nice to be able to edit a canonical on blog pages. We have urls with and without capitals and fear that Google is seeing this as duplicate content. Hubspot supports canonicals but we need to be able to edit them.

Many news services require image credit captions on all images in their feeds, and we can't currently caption images in Hubspot Blog posts.

Hi all, in this moment we are trying to make some changes to our blog post template so we have created a new template to test. The problem is that the only way to test our new blog post template is to apply it to all the articles published on our blog. I think that it will be very useful to have the possibility to change the template on a single blog post as it is for Landing Pages. Thanks for your help

Hi there, I was wondering if there is a reason why the RSS feeds for blogs don't include the featured image for a post? We're using the RSS feed to generate emails using Digesto and it's become a pain point that we can't access the images that we upload for each post. I'd imagine it could print out something like this, probably fairly easy to add to the feed as well because I'm guessing Hubspot has it developed in a way they can access the post data as an object. <image>http://image-source-here.jpg</image> Thanks! Currently, if a customer comments on a blog post, other readers or blog managers in HubSpot can reply to that comment. When doing so, however, the original poster does not receive a notification email letting them know that their comment has been responded to. As a result, community managers, blog editors, and other marketing folks working with the blog either have to hope that the original poster decides to come back, or take the additional step of emailing that contact to let them know that their comment has received a response. When commenting on a blog post, ideally the commenter would be able to check a box indicating that they want to be notified of responses to their comment.

Managing XML sitemaps in HubSpot can be really time-consuming for large websites. Given that XML sitemaps are so important in ensuring a page is crawled and indexed quickly, here are a couple of suggested ways to help us manage these more efficiently. Suggestion 1 We often find clients don't add a landing page to the XML sitemap after launch, because they don't realise it's not automatic like with blogs and website pages. So their content doesn't get indexed on Google quickly. However, making this automatic is also not ideal as thank you pages shouldn't be on the sitemap, because we don't want people being able to Google our downloadable content and bypass the forms. So a selection box when creating new content in the landing pages tool, that specifies clearly if it is a LP or a thank you page would be a good workaround. Typically, LP's get added to the XML sitemap automatically, TYPs don't. Suggestion 2 The ability to remove pages from the XML sitemap in bulk based on them living in a specific subfolder or on a subdomain. That way if there is a section of the site not intended for search engines, we don't have to manually go and remove each page from the sitemap after it is published.
