Great minds think alike

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that the attachments section of Hubspot could use a facelift. Here are some of the functionalities I believe are a MUST for Hubspot going forward:   Renaming uploaded attachments Association options (add or remove associations) Easy upload of attachments to emails, notes, meetings, etc. from a contact, company, deal, or ticket Searching attachments for keywords in the title Filter attachments by date uploaded, modified, file name, file type, etc.  A view all menu  A property history menu, to see when files were uploaded when they were renamed, reassociated The option not to associate an attachment to a record  ...read more

When you want to associate a contact activity such as an email or task to a specific ticket, you have to find the right ticket record out of all tickets, which could be 50-60 or more as time goes on. It would be great if when we go to associate these activities, only open active tickets would show up and not all tickets, especially if they are older closed tickets.  We have customers that constantly put in tickets and often will name them with the same subject line. It makes it confusing when trying to identify which is the current open ticket when we have to scroll through a long list of every ticket ever submitted.  This is not as much a problem right now but it will be a huge headache a year or two down the line when someone accumulates hundreds of tickets. ...read more

Recently implemented Hubspot & am absolutely shocked & disgusted to find that I cannot search for a keyword in emails only in the subject line of the email. How is this possible in 2020 in a CRM system?!?!?!?! One of the reasons we implemented the system was to have a centralised activity history for each client so that we can find emails in one place without having to ask everyone to individually run a search in their outlook to find the email. Currently we are not able to run reports looking at Activities within Custom Objects. It automatically defaults to Contacts and pulls the activity from the Contact record, not your Custom Object.   We use a few Custom Objects and I am trying to pull a report to show the Notes Body of the notes within our Events records.   The more reporting we can do, the better!    Please help. ...read more

It's a big problem, that somebody from a company merged Company (or other Objects) records and HubSpot doesn't provide information on who did this.   Also, it would be great to have a separate permission, that Super Admin can turn on or turn off for users who can merge records. We just started using conversations inboxes in May 2022. We have one inbox for Orders and one inbox for Support. We are noticing the email activity from a conversation is being associated to the conversation's contact, associated company and more than just 5 open deals in some cases. We would like to have the ability to unassociate or associate the conversation to whichever objects we choose. Right now there is no option to do so (not including the ability to connect 1 ticket). Every other object's (Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets) activities allow for this flexibility. Please make it the same for conversations.     ...read more

Currently we can only pin one individual note to the top of a company profile.  It would be great to be able to mark other important notes with a star or similar and then be able to filter out those favourite notes to search back on quickly.   ...read more

Hey Hubspot developers-- another cool no-code module that would be neat to have in the center column would be a card that embeds a link in a single text property.    ie. if we have their linkedin URL stored in a contact property, embed that in a center column card so they can view their information without ever having to leave hubspot.  ...read more
