Recently implemented Hubspot & am absolutely shocked & disgusted to find that I cannot search for a keyword in emails only in the subject line of the email. How is this possible in 2020 in a CRM system?!?!?!?! One of the reasons we implemented the system was to have a centralised activity history for each client so that we can find emails in one place without having to ask everyone to individually run a search in their outlook to find the email. Does anyone know if there are plans to fix this MASSIVE FLAW in the system or if there is any workaround I can use? ...read more

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that the attachments section of Hubspot could use a facelift. Here are some of the functionalities I believe are a MUST for Hubspot going forward:   Renaming uploaded attachments Association options (add or remove associations) Easy upload of attachments to emails, notes, meetings, etc. from a contact, company, deal, or ticket Searching attachments for keywords in the title Filter attachments by date uploaded, modified, file name, file type, etc.  A view all menu  A property history menu, to see when files were uploaded when they were renamed, reassociated The option not to associate an attachment to a record  ...read more

Hi, I have a question about Files in HubSpot. There are SO many files Unused on any pages and I'm going to archive them eventually. But it takes too long to figure out which file is used or not. New contacts are constantly added to our existing deals, which take an average of nine months to close. These people are often part of the DMU and important to the project, but unknown to us at the start. Sometimes the contacts originally associated with deals have only small, insignificant roles during the project.   We want to add timeline activities of new contacts associated with deals - even if the deal already exists. Meetings often take place with new contacts that have been associated with existing deals at a later stage. It is now unclear if there are any upcoming tasks related to deals and it's labor-intensive to add the right activities and keep an oversight of projects from any type of dashboard.     In the image below you see part of the screen that is shown during the creation of a new deal. In the old activity feed for all notifications, I was able to mute specific events after one or more notification arrived. I'm not able to in the new version.   For example, after Jane opened X email and I was notified, I had the option in the dropdown menu to mute future notifications (or unmute later on). It would be great to associate Activities with Custom Objects. For example, if we send an email to a contact associated with a custom object - we aren't able to view within a custom object which emails have been sent to individuals associated with the project. Today, for sales emails, there is no way to separate the open metrics for the contact from the opens of those CC'd on the email. All opens on an email will be attributed to the contact(s) the email was sent to. The only way to ensure the opens are from the recipient only is to send the email directly to the recipient without CCing anyone. It would be GREAT to be able to have a different tracking pixel uniquely put in each recipient -- so that you'd know how many opens each recipient made (of course, if a recipient forwarded an email to others, those opens could not be separated out and would be attributed to that recipient). I'm not sure if using a third-party email system (such as GMAIL) prevents this from being implemented or not. Apps like Superhuman are able to differentiate opens by email recipient.
