Problem: When editing default sidebar view by adding/removing cards, the order becomes locked for individual users to edit their view.   Proposed solution: Have the ability to still move the cards shown on the 'trimmed/selected' default view   More detailed description: We are looking to have the functionality of removing/adding cards on the default right-side bar view, but still have users move them individually. When looking at all leads it allows you to add coloums to see who the lead owner is and the date they were assigned. The issue is you cannot save that view so every day when you log in you have to create that view. Would be nice if it would allow you to save that or make it a global setting so everyone would not have to update it everyday.   In the picture below I added the date the lead was added and the owner. If you have external partners in your Hubspot account and you won´t they view all the options you have in some drop-down properties, you can´t do it in advanced filters. If they will use advanced filters, the could view all your properties options. We think it´s important for data protection. ...read more

Currently, the out of the box Primary association label for Contact and Company label can't be edited and is labelled as Primary.   Now when we use Primary association label when associating a contact to a company on viewing the contact record the right side view of the associated Company comes up with the label Primary which seems to be correct. But when we view the company record the right side view of the associated contact comes up with the label Primary Company (screenshot attached for reference). I believe the labels should either be reversed or it should just read as Primary for both.   Will highly recommend HubSpot look into fixing the naming convention on the contact-company Primary association label.       ...read more

Hello product team,   For HubSpot admins, one of the biggest challenges is keeping a portal organized, cleaned up and prevent overall chaos. Especially in Enterprise portals with sometimes hundreds of users, it's almost impossible to get users to follow a naming convention for email names, landing page names, workflow names. Quickly this becomes a cat and mouse game where HubSpot have to constantly chase and remind users to name their assets correctly.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for users?   Naming conventions are usually documented outside of HubSpot, in a wiki, stored as a Google Doc or something similar along the same lines. Forcing them to interrupt what they're currently doing, look up a naming convention and then come back means that they're losing time. They also have to leave HubSpot momentarily. Even then, they might misunderstand the naming convention and type in an incorrect name.   Why is this currently a bad user experience for admins?   Incorrect naming means that list or workflow filters for Recent conversion might not work. It can also mean that reports become a mess, if these reports are pulling in asset names.   If admins have to look into this on a permanent basis, in portals where there are new assets every day, this takes time away from developing the HubSpot portal and generating more value for all users.   Here's what a solution could look like   To solve this, it would be great if there were tools to enforce a naming convention. Ideally, admins would specify what constitutes a correctly named asset and similar to the forms editor, arrange fields to their liking.   Here's a quick mockup of what this could look like when creating a new page.     The user could select from dropdowns which team they belong to, the language of the assets, the asset type, include a title and date. The system would then generate a title from this that cannot be further edited.   Admins should be able to specify the options for each dropdown, separators, order and field validation (e.g. max length for a title).   (In case this is eventually introduced, please consider to make this a feature that is at least included in all Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.)   I would love to see this for all assets in HubSpot: emails, workflows, lists, campaigns, imports, properties, files etc.   Thanks in advance for reviewing! ...read more

We would like to add a feature that prevents that emails can be send out to recipients that are outside the responsible area of a user or team that sends out the email. For example, we want to ensure that an email originating from Spain cannot be sent out by mistake to another country like the Netherlands without proper permission. Background of the idea Currently, there is a possibility of sending out such emails by mistake, leading to people receiving unwanted emails. We know these mistakes can be prevented manually, but relying solely on manual actions to prevent this, is prone to human errors. Therefore, we propose to prevent this within HubSpot's basic configuration too. Moreover, in many countries, legal requirements such as GDPR emphasize the importance of taking all necessary measures to prevent the send out of unwanted emails. Our specific request to HubSpot is to add a checkbox in the settings that restricts email send-outs to the user's responsible area. In cases where someone needs to send emails to multiple areas for which they have no permissions, they can be designated as super admins. However, a warning message should be displayed to indicate the associated risks. Let's help eachother to prevent these mistakes by all means possible. ...read more

BLUF: A view that we can delete but cannot edit? As HubSpot super admins, we have access to all the resources and components built by us or others. However, we are unable to change or edit the views. We can only delete them, which doesn't make sense. This creates a lot of dependencies as we have to involve stakeholders like the CEO for minor non-functional changes. Simple changes that could be done in seconds sometimes take weeks to get approval from senior stakeholders. It doesn't make sense that we can delete views but not edit them. We want to add specific users to access a specific stage in the Pipeline. Right now the new pipeline rules let us set only SuperAdmins and not specific users, but it's userful to let sales managers (that may have a paid seat but not superadmin permissions) to be able to access that stage.
