The Custom Objects option is not available via the iOS mobile app. We have checked in the Android version and the option is listed under the More menu in the bottom corner but this is completely missing from the iOS version.
Hi there, I wanted to give everyone here an update that Custom objects can now be accessed from the global menu on iOS. You can learn more about the update in the product update.
The feature has rolled out to all users. You should have the latest version of the app installed to see the change.
Note that these actions can only be performed if a Custom object record is associated to a Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket record, which can be done from the web app.
Hi there, I wanted to give an update here that Custom objects can be accessed on iOS from the Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket record. Most recently we also made it possible to edit custom object records on iOS. Adding new records is possible on web and Android. We don't yet have a concrete timeline to share on making this functionality possible on iOS, but it is on our radar.
You can edit Custom objects from the Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket record screen. To edit a Custom object:
Open a Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket record.
Navigate to the Associations tab, find the Custom object you want to edit. Tap to open the Custom object record.
From the About tab, tap “Edit”.
Make the required changes and save the record.
Additionally, you can now do the following on iOS:
Add Associations to Custom objects
Create and delete Notes and Activities on Custom objects
You can't release different major capabilities between iOS and Android. There has to be feature parity between both platforms when it is released. This totally hurts a huge set of the market (one side or the other) and training and processes when its not the same ability.
This is going to be absolutely necessary for our company to be able to use Hubspot effectively. Many of our salespeople and executives are often on the go/traveling and need to be able to utilize the CRM in a near 1 to 1 of the web based version, especially with how heavily some of our departments use custom objects in their day to day. The majority of them have iOS devices and it's surprising to us that the Android version has a majority of the capabilities but the iOS app seems to have been left as an afterthought.
I can't believe that a feature is not available on one platform and is on the other hand. It would make sense to first release in one and the other but its been a while that custom object is there in hubspot. High time now it to be available for iOS.
I'm so used to Android missing out on iOS features this one completely caught me off guard. We have a Custom Object created by our deployment partner that is a key part of the overall HubSpot solution that can't be used in the field by our Sales and Service reps. Our ROI for this aspect of our 3 month old HS deployment is therefore not as it should be. Wish we knew this before we invested heavily in migrating to HS.

We are having trouble accessing the claimed released feature of adding associations to custom objects from the app. Do reps need to re-install the app? What's the deal?
