Hello there,iicII arI work I have been working on a product registration via chatbot for our customer for quite some time. Since the basic plan is to extend the registration at some point, we checked if Custom Objects (CO) could be used for this. To our surprise, we found that it is not possible to create a clear association between a CO and a product. Although it is possible to create a line item via API and assign it to the CO, it is not possible to perform this step manually in the UI later on.
According to Hubspot, products are currently reserved exclusively for deals. This leads to the fact that in the UI, the selection of products lists all created line items that were created somehow (also via deals). It is therefore not possible to select a product via UI, which then creates a line item in the background (as with deals), but you select existing line items - without knowing their origin (deal or API).
My wish here: The possibility to associate products with custom objects (and vice versa).
