creating payment link submission as a trigger for automatic emails

Hi, I would like to have the payment links setup as triggers for emails to automatically go out. I have several membership options and I do not want to have a form at the bottom of every membership to use a trigger for automatic emails as it looks overwhelming. I like the look of just having the payment button and once this link is submitted then it can be used as a trigger to send out a series of automatic emails over several weeks. payment links look better than repeated forms but we need the payment links to be triggers for automatic emails

This seems absurd that this doesn't already exist. I now have to add a form just so I can use that to trigger emails, which is a horrible UE.

This does seem very absurd to me as well. Any thoughts from anyone on a workaround?
