choose sub-team / selected team members of a team to give access to inbox
Currently, if we have teams nested in another team, it does not allow us to selected the nested team without auto selecting the parent team, when giving access to inbox.
If we select the sub-team under the parent team, the parent team members will also be selected.
Would be great if we can selected the nested team instead of the whole parent team
To expand on this thread, we have a Company Team which has sub-teams (admin team, sales team, marketing team, etc.). And, we have a Contractor Teams with sub-teams (Contactor 1 team, Contractor 2 team, etc.).
The proplem arises when we assign permissions to a sub-team – the permission are also assigned to the parent team. So that means everyone, gets assigned. Which isn't what we want.
Yes, I can do a workaround and add people one by one but that defeats the purpos of the teams.
A specific example: If Salesperson 1 is in Sales Team, which is a sub-team of Company Team. And, Accounts Person 1 is in Admin Team, also a sub-team of Company Team. If we assign Sales Team, to a Conversation Inbox, then Accounts Person 1 has to be included, even though the are in a different team because we cannot assign just the Sales team.
