add dependent fields to survey questions

it would be great to be able to add logic to survey questions in Hubspot.

Creating a custom survey is great but we should be able to include conditional fields

If HubSpot is going to charge for feedback surveys, they need to be more robust.  Adding conditional logic is a staple of surveys and definitely needs to be implemented.

+1 to this! It keeps our feedback surveys relevant since other feedback forms have a similar function. Hoping to see this in future updates soon

A much needed feature — quite surprised this isn't implemented.

This is absolutely necessary. I would love to provide smart surveys, in an effort to keep them as succint as possible, and not overwhelm my contacts with unecessary questions; plus, the only way really around this is to just have (Leave this blank is responded a certain way above), which looks clunky.

Yes, we need this!

Agreed. Google Forms deos this well. I am just getting used to HubSpot survey forms and would agree that having the ability to add form paths based on how a surveyee answeres a question would be a huge help. Please HubSpot, add!

I am astonished that dependent fields don't exist for custom surveys, but do exist for forms. Let's level out these playing fields, please! Service Hub is getting better, but not being able to have dependent fields on HubSpot surveys bounced us right out of Service Hub and into misusing HubSpot forms, having to pay for a SurveyMonkey integration, or using Google Forms. SurveyMonkey and Google Forms both offer more logic options than HubSpot's custom survey tool. WE WANT TO USE HUBSPOT FOR EVERYTHING. PLEASE HELP US USE HUBSPOT FOR EVERYTHING by prioritizing the essential details demanded by your users, at the least.

This is a basic and super essential feature. A big miss that it's not already included. I just purchased the service hub for the survey, and already regret my move as I am back using regular forms because this option is missing in survey... We just can't use survey without this basic feature, please fix it Hubspot team 🤞

We really need this option!

Hi there, I am utilizing the feedback survey feature and noticed that hubspot has added "NPS". That feature is great due to the logic built within it. If a customer selects a certain rating it pops up a dependent field such as, if a score below 7 is selected, another field pops us "tell us how we can do better next time"

I am hoping to add this to multiple questions. Currently i have to create an additional multi line text field, make it required, and ask my customer to perform additional work by entering N/A if they gave us a rating higher than 7.

Conditional logic similar to the NPS feature would be extremely helpful!

Please add!! We would love to use HubSpot's feedback survey but cannot until there is logic.

Bumping this! Conditional logic is an essential function of any survey tool. We also already have conditional fields in forms and record views, so this seems like a no-brainer vs creating a separate "If you answered "XX" above, tell us more" question that won't be relevant to every user.

Please add dependent/conditional logic options in Custom Surveys, just like we have in HS forms

I don't understand how Hubspot, an industry leader with a Market cap of $15B plus, has a survey tool this bad. You can not even use it to receive any valuable feedback.

For example, if I want to have a multiple choice question with an  "other" answer to catch items that may not be listed as standard responses in hopes of gathering insight on other options to add to my survey, you can't do that. We can do these sorts of things in forms how hard is it to do a copy and Paste job with your code to the Survey part of the platform? I think I understand why they heavily discount their CRM enterprise Suite so much so they can ignore the poorly built parts of the platform and give them to consumers at a hefty discount and use that as the reason to not have these features.

Please add this feature. I am using other services for surveys until this is added.

I also agree. Really basic feature that I was expecting to find.

+1 For this idea, this would be quite essential.

This is potentially a make or break feature. We can make much more precise surveys that demand less of the customer if we can ask follow up questions based on information we've already been given. And HubSpot's own blog post on surveys advises offering write-in options, and yet we can't make a conditional text box for write-ins.

We currently work with a partner that handles surveys. We want to move away from them and handle everything internally through HubSpot. It would save us money, give us more control, and allow us to better utilize the data. But it's still a tough sell if I can't make a survey with this kind of basic functionality.
