Would love a text wrapping feature on the drag and drop editor
Hey there! Just popping in to make a suggestion. I noticed there is currently no way to have text wrap around an image in the new drag and drop editor. I think that would be a really valuable feature.
Thank you @alyssachandler for the idea and everyone for the upvotes. It is not in our immediate plan but i will add this to the team backlog and update this post when i have more solid timelines. Again thank you all for the suggestion.
Yes, please. Still a need! I'm working on an email now that has 4 images to place in combination with the text. It's difficult to get it inserted and formatted next to copy that looks intentional and professional without a text wrapping function. Please allow us to insert an image with the copy and then choose which formatting to use.
This feature was first requested back in 2019. How is image text wrap still not available within the drag-and-drop editor? It's been over a year since HubSpot commented on this request. Any updates?
I'm new to Hubspot but am appalled that in 2023 you'd even think of creating a drag-and-drop editor without image wrap. And that the feature has been requested for 3+ years without response is just plain disresepctful to the client base that's begging for it.
The more I explore, the more I really hate this editor and all it's outdated (and often requested) missing features. How is it that the wordpress editor has been capable of wrapping an image in text for 20+ years (and for free), but you clowns still haven't figured it out?
It's time to fire programmers and hire someone competent. Plug-ins that can do this are a dime a dozen these days.
Oh look, even HERE in the community board I can wrap an image in text, just not in the email editor where it actually matters. C'mon people, be better!
The entire reason I was able to sell out our organization on the value of hubspot was the integrated pieces. We didn't need to have our sales pipeline separated from our email list separated from our website. Without basic functionalities like this, it's harder to justify that adoption. Frankly, it makes someone like me look bad. @Shane_Janssens@MiaSrebrnjak@hubspot Does anyone have an update on this?
Adding my upvote and voice to this one – it does seem rather a basic thing to be missing from the email builder and it'd be a really, really helpful addition. Please, Hubspot!
Boosting this. This is an extremely basic functionality that needs to be added. The Hubspot email editor is extremely lacking in comparison to other products on the market. It makes me consider moving our email marketing away from Hubspot entirely— I am constantly limited by this tool and it takes me hours to design emails that should take me 20 minutes because of all the workarounds I have to do to create very basic design elements.
Four years on, and still we don't have the ability to wrap text around images? I mean HubSpot, c'mon. This is a wonderful idea. Please, if you can push it up on your priority list, do.
Agree with all the comments here. Please add the ability to insert an inline image into a body text in a marketing email and wrap the text. I was shocked that this basic feature is not available. We recently moved from Emma to HubSpot and it was honestly easier and faster to create emails in Emma. Having to create workarounds for this is getting really old! It takes me hours to create a simple email that should take minutes.
Came here to upvote! It's a little shocking that this was submitted in 2019, responded to in 2022, and it still hasn't happened. Must be a pretty big backlog if this still hasn't been changed. 😅 Please put some thought into this, Hubspot.
